I love bacon. My cousin puts bacon in her fried potatoes. I had never thought to try that. It is delicious. What ordinary dishes do you add bacon to?

Hmmm, Let's see. I grew up seasoning my green beans with a little bacon fat, plus bacon. I like bacon, spinach and mushrooms on pizza. Deluxe potato salad has bacon bits. I know someone who fries bacon, zucchini, and onions for a meal. I am waiting to make jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped in bacon. I buy bags of ready cooked real bacon bits and mix it into things. A local grocery store mixes bacon pieces, and cheddar cheese into ground chuck with seasonings to make gourmet burgers. I like bacon and horseradish dip. I of course like bacon cheese burgers, and bacon crumbled on top of potato soup. I am beginning to run out of ideas, but these are just a few.

The only thing missing in all those delicious dishes are jalapenos.

Have you ever tried it on pizza? It's very good. I also like it fried, and added to beans. I like it in omelots, salads, and in cooked cabbage. It's even good, cooked with scrambled eggs. I can't think of anything else, at the moment. But it's super on pizza.

How about a Texas Tommy? It's a big hotdog or sausage that been split open, then the split is filled with cheese, usually Monteray Jack or sharp Cheddar... then the dog is wrapped in bacon and deep fried until the bacon is done and the cheese is partly melted... Put this on a roll with your favorite fixings and let the good times "roll", so to speak! LOL! :)

Be sure to use a toothpick to keep the bacon wrapped around the dog while it deep fries- Oh by the way, these are certified Man-Food! LOL! :) But Ladies and kids will love them, too!

One of my partner's favourites is a chicken fillet wrapped with streaky bacon and roasted in the oven. The fat in the bacon acts as a baste for the chicken and it tastes gorgeous with potatoes and sweetcorn

I have never tried that before, but it does sound pretty good. The only thing I really add bacon to is usually my cheeseburgers. Sometimes I like little bits of bacon sprinkled on a salad or on a baked potato though too.

I think Bacon makes everything better! In fact last year for his birthday I got my boyfriend a membership to the Bacon of the month club. We get a differnt and interesting Bacon each month, and it's been really fun. One thing I love to do with bacon is to wrap it around a pork tenderloin and then cook it. The bacon add such agreat flavor and keeps the pork from dying out. I also love BLP sandwiches. Bacon, lettauce and pickles!

OOOhhh... where to start? LOL! I love bacon in potatoes... mashed, fried, potato soup. It's delicious any which way, that way. I also like to add it to vegetables. Mostly green beans or with brussel sprouts. It's great sprinkled on a broccoli salad, or added to pea salad--not to mention the all-time favorite lettuce! :) I haven't tried it, but I know some people cook it with squash or sweet potatoes, as well. Have you tried layering bacon in the bottom of the loaf pan, before adding the meat loaf mixture? Or, just criss-crossed across the top of the meat loaf? That's just some of the uses I've found. I try to cut back, since bacon isn't, well, it just isn't that heart healthy as some foods. It does make a nice treat and surpise to do every once in a while.

I love to use bacon. I put it in my fried potatoes and my scalloped potatoes too. I put alittle into my spaghetti sauce. I use it on pizza. I make lots of sandwiches with bacon. My sons love grilled cheese with bacon.I also will use alittle bacon and the grease when making greens or fried cabbage and noodles. I always sprinkle crumbled bacon on top of our potato soup it makes it so yummy.

Hi there. With using bacon, we mainly use it for baking bacon and egg pies, which are a favourite in our house, filling and very delicious...

Hello myfanwy65, I like eating bacon. I eat bacon in sandwiches, with fried rice or just by its plain self stripped and crispy. I think thats sounds good bacon with fried potatoes, very tasty, you can just imagine eating bacon and chips together. We usually have bacon for breakfast. We served bacon together with sunny side up or scrambled eggs, hotdogs and sliced tomatoes. Sometimes I add bacon bits to an omelet. There's a lot of dishes that we can add bacon to and I think it depends on us how we want and what to add it to. :-)
