My husband has just broken his leg and I wanted to know if anyone has any good ideas on what to write on his cast.

It depends if you want to write something sweet and nice or something funny. I personally would go for something funny. The first one that came to mind was: "Next time take the trash out when I ask you! Love Your Wife" Get it? Hahaha.
