The long weekend is here and I am excited to share my Thanksgiving with my family. We are having a vegetarian feast which will be so yummy! I also will be calling all my family out west. So the phone will get a workout. Charge the battery now. I am sad that we can't be together, but I will cherish the time my children and I will spend together which isn't all about toys and money but family love. What are you doing for thanksgiving?

Happy Thanksgiving to you too. I am so grateful to live in our glorious country. Do you know we have people from almost every country in the world. We have so much to be thankful for, in particular that so far we have been able to live in peace and harmony on Canadaian soil. Let us hope it will stay that way. By the way, if you are calling all your friends and family try 1010229 as a prefix before the number you are calling. The charge is one cent per minute and it is billed on your regular phone bill. I have used this number to call all over Canada and Europe. Hope it works for you too.

I heard about that number for the first time the other day. Cool eh? We are so lucky to be in this country for sure. My Oma came from Germany and she was the most proud Canadian I ever met. Though she loved her land of birth she said Canada was home and the best place on earth. I think it was knowing what it is like living somewhere else gave her an appreciation of a beautiful free country. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving Linda!

Happy Thanksgiving Ravenladyj, even if you can't do the feast, I'll eat a bite for you. LOL I totally understand having to boot out a holiday for a birthday. My daughter has her birthday around labor day. But the boys were born on Mother's Day and Father's Day. So those days get put on the back burner for the real important day (our children's birth! LOL). Happy birthday to your son!
