I am a huge fisherman and while I understand the thrill of the fight with a big fish I hate to see them killed. I usually practice catch and release. I have to admit that is one huge Mako. I don't think keeping a trophy like that is a bad idea. Let's be real how would you keep it alive any way.

Let him go. Why does it have to be about who has the biggest trophy. Is life that worthless? I'm glad you usually release what you catch, cuz I don't feel anyone should be killed just because someone needs to feel a surge of power over another creature.

That is one big shark! I would not have wanted to be the one trying to get it back to shore. I am surprised the boat could even drag it in.

Yeah, I saw that. I used to visit Destin Fla when I was a kid. There has been an annual contest to do that ever since I can remember. Kind of makes you hear that Jaws music...
