Not considering age but prefer listening music of before even not those release of 80-90's even during the time of my parents birth...I feel the lyrics and feelings are more intense meaning i feel the their touch through melodies and dream off their points through their lyrics.

I am a 60's music fan myself, I have my radio tuned to a station that still plays the music from that era, I love the rawness and individuality of the songs in those days, I think a lot of the music today the singers and the bands tend to sound the same a bit, where in the 60's every singer and every band had their own sound, I guess every artist wanted to be remembered for their own sound, today I think they just want to make a hit no matter what...

I like 80s music way better than what was released in the 90s and what's being released today. Only a few things from those other two decades I can stand, the rest is (c)Rap and I can't stand that one bit.

I listen to all sorts of music from all sorts of eras. I have to say though that when I hear an 80's "oldie" such as "Come On Eileen" I always find myself singing along and laughing that at the point in time that song was released it was considered sexually suggestive. LOL Way more subtle than what you here nowadays when nothing is left to the imagination.

I did not appreciate 80s music until the 2000s, but I spend most my time listening to late 90s and early 2000s music.
