What would make your morning?

Realistically, what would just make your morning? Would it be waking up to see your spouse had cooked YOU breakfast? Would it be that your children had gotten ready for school without you having to remind them to? Would it just be someone offering you a ride to school or work, when you usually have to walk?
For me I think it would be waking up precisely at 5am completely rested, and getting to watch a radio show that is also on TV at that time. It would be having my dog immediately do his 'business' as soon as we stepped outside, allowing me to go back in and watch the show.
What would make your morning?

I only eat one big meal a day so breakfast is a donut
and coffee only for me. I have made my wife breakfast
in bed before and she loved the gesture.

It is really good discussion. It is hard to think about this one for me.I think I would be happy when i would get some new that i can go soon see my friends and my family and fly with my fiancee back to my home country. But also when I open mylot and see i have many reponses to my discussions, that make me pretty happy too.

Your question got me to thinking, and actually the only thing I could come up with was for him to bring me coffee in bed ( I usually don't eat breakfast). And that isn't really that big of a deal. My mornings are good as it is, we get up at 5:30, I come down and get coffee ( which is done by the time we get up) and take him a cup. He gets ready for work, and I go downstairs and have my coffee and either watch the morning news or check emails, etc. I see him off and then I have an hour to have my coffee time, before getting ready for work myself. So, there's really not much that could improve on my mornings.

Waking up to see my spouse had cooked me a breakfast would be fascinating. The problem is, he doesn't know how to cook. So, I guess that won't happen. Anyway, what would make my morning is seeing my husband and my daughter smiling at me as I open my eyes. This usually happens on weekends when my daughter has slept early the night before. I love waking on mornings like that and remembering that I have the two most important people in my life beside me as I slept through the night.

i would say not having to get out of my bed at 430am every morning with my 3 lil babies, and going back to sleep with my hubby all cuddled up for the whole day and a babysister came over to watch the kids.that would make my morning because i dont get to do that.

Being fully rested when the alarm went off, and then having whatever I pulled out of the closet to wear match, and fit comfortably, and being able to find socks to match. I would have to include, waking up without a headache. I am fighting with my sinuses. I love it when I can get around in time to visit myLot a little while on the computer as well.

What would make my morning is actually sleeping in. I never do it. Every weekend I say this will be the day I sleep it 8:00a.m. and it never happens. Whether it is the kids or my body saying I need to pee. I just can't stay asleep. And once I am up I am up. I can't go back to bed. I can't nap or anything. I good night sleep and feeling totally rested when I wake would be awesome.

To wake up and know I didn't have to go to work, hubby was beside me pulling me close (he usually works nights and we rarely spend the same time in bed)and knowing that when I did get out of bed there were no chores to be done, no calls from family, and we could just spend the day together uninterrupted pleasing ourselves.

Well, yesterday morning I got up and took the dog for a walk, stopping at the post office on the way to chat for a minute with the postmistress, who is a friend of mine. While I was in there another woman came in wearing a gorgeous lavender jacket with pockets and black trim. I raved over it and she took it off and gave it to me! And I have to say, I look stunning in it! The rest of my day just seemed to go that way too, one good thing after another. Of course I can't expect every morning to start off that way, but I can start the day in a good mood, which was what was really what started that whole day off anyway... I had woken up and simply refused to allow myself to dwell on the situations in my life that cause me to feel stressed out, and deliberately directed my focus to the thoughts that made me feel good, and like I said, the entire day just sort of followed suit!
PS: Maybe you could watch your program first and take the dog out later? Dogs have better bladder control than we do because they like to save it up so they can pee on lots of trees rather than just a few!

Lets see. I already have my hubby make me breakfast in the mornings on the weekends when he doesn't work, so that wouldn't be it. My kids are grown and live on their won so that wouldn't be an option for me, as you state. I don't get up very often with my hubby to make him breakfast because he's up at 5am and I don't have to get up that early. I don't have a job. I fix my hubby's breakfast, a bowl of cereal, in the evening before I go to bed. He just has to put the milk in it when he gets up. I get the coffee pot ready so he just has to flick the switch before he goes to the bathroom and does his business and washes up and so on. Then its ready for him to drink when he eats his cereal. I make his lunch in the evening so it's in the fridge waiting for him. So I don't get up till I want to get up, in the morning.
So what would make my morning. I know, logging into my paypal account and seeing lots of money. Hehehe. Like that will ever happen. I see a little but never lots.

My morning is complete when my wife kisses me goodbye and
says she loves me before she heads out to work. Nothing
like that for me to have a superb day there after.

Being able to sleep in on the weekends. My kids are so hard to get up in morning for school, but are up way early on the weekends. Even better when my husband is off, let me sleep in and he gets the kids ready for school for a change. I know I'm dreaming but I can only hope.

I would like to wake up in the morning smiling, so I would like to know that I will have a beautiful day in front of me. I would like that someone cooks my brakfast and I would like to go to the university without traffic, taking the bus without wait it. Is it a dream? Maybe yes! :-D

It may sound strange but realistically I'd rather sleep in the morning. I sometimes work at night, it's not comfortable in this weather, but not as much work and more pay. I only work a day or two in a week but even before I work nights I never actually find my self fresh waking up in the morning.
