I was just curious to see what others opinions on chicken was. I love chicken i can eat it almost everyday if need be. But i cant eat it off the bone. i have this mental picture in my head when ever i see a chicken bone and its not a very pretty picture at that! So i go and buy the skinless boneless. It taste better and its healtier for oyu too! Occaionslly i will buy a few family packages of the legs, drumsticks and thighs. My husband and daughter like these and i dont mind buying htem when im on a tight budget because i can proably get 3 family packs for the price of one pack of bonelss skinless. My husband liek the boneless because then iwill marinate them in a terayki sauce or honey sauce and when we cook them they are so delicous and my daughter likes the crunchy shake and bake skin! I like putting the bonless in a skillet and mixing it up with the campells bake meals. with the stuffng and creamy sauces.. mmm mmm mmmm~!
I was just wondering... what is your prefence boneless or not? What is your favorite way to eat them?

I haven't eaten chicken on the bone since I was little. My son is still too little to eat it off the bone as well, so I never buy it that way, even though my husband likes it. When my mom comes up here to visit, we usually buy some bone in chicken and she fries it for herself, my husband and my sister (she comes with my mom). She hasn't been up here since the week my son was born, though. And he's 21 months old now. My husband is probably missing his bone in fried chicken!
We do a lot of casseroles with chicken. We also eat it with rice a lot of times. And we do grilled chicken as well. Chicken can be used in so many different dishes.

I am also a big fan of chicken. We have it more than a couple of times a week very often. I love my chicken (baked or fried) on the bone. It seems to me to have so much flavor. When I buy boneless, I use it in casseroles. It is so much easier than de-boning the chicken for the casseroles that I prepare.

Drumstick is my favorite part in chicken. I have grown up eating them this way: holding it with the two hands at each opposite end and licking it clean to the bones. When I went living on my own i started buying the boneless ones because of the convenience when eating. But then what the heck? Boneless or not, it's still chicken and i love chicken.

I like both, but I think it really depends on what I am cooking. If I am making a casserole or something like that, obviously boneless is the best choice. But, I have to say that I do enjoy drumsticks. I love frying chicken or baking it and I love the taste of the drumstick meet.

I personally like the one with bone. Just like it that way. But since I have to think and cook also for my children, it is better to buy the boneless at this time, so my children also can eat it easily. About the taste, I don't think they have different taste because I always cook chicken with traditional recipes from Asia, so the taste will always the same. That's my opinion.

Hi,beutfulmama6701(how long your name!).I don't know why you would ask this question and think it curious. In our city, the price of chicken is more expensive than pork,so we seldom eat it.For me,I just like to eat drumsticks but not boneless.I like to eat bone.

it actually depends on the chicken dish that I'm cooking for example I prefer boneless for chicken fried rice , chicken chop and soup (although I do put the bones in the chicken soup for an xtra chicken flavor and bones are very good in making chicken stock too and you don't have to eat em you can just remove it once your stock or soup is done.
as for fried chicken i prefer drumsticks I love drumsticks and I even eat some of the top bone part of the drumstick. lol.

I'm really not a picky eater so I would go with what is served... but then if I have the chance to choose, I would definitely go for boneless. It is easier to eat, minus the clingy stuff that are attached to the bones. All in all fillet looks cleaner. Fish looks cleaner deboned and so does chicken. As for my favorite way of eating chicken, it can either be deep fried, stewed, or whatever.
