Have you ever watched a movie and half way through realized you've seen it b4?

I've been sitting here for an hour watching one of the 'new'...(that's a laugh) movies for the week on fearnet. I thought for sure this is one that I've never seen but now that it's almost over I'm realizing I was wrong and I've seen it at least once before. But what the heck there's only about 25 minutes left so I'll finish it out.
Has this ever happened to you? Does it happen often? Do you just stop watching it when you realize you've already seen it or do you keep on watching it to the end?

so I take it you're talking about watching a movie you think you've never seen only to realize you have seen it?
No. I own a lot of movies and i know the ones I've seen and the ones I haven't yet watched. I also watch a lot of movies on tv and I'm pretty good with knowing movies I've seen before. I honestly can't recall a time that I started watching a movie thinking I'd never seen it and realized half way in I have.
It probably has happened...maybe.

Same as me. I recall every movie and or TV series I've seen. My wife will get up and stop watching once she realizes she's seen it before. I will watch it all the way through though even though Ive seen it before.

My point is that I sat down to watch a movie that I thought I never saw before (like that could happen..lol). come to find out I did...but I watched it to the end any way.

It happens to me all the time. I don't have a good memory when it comes to books I may have read or movies I have watched. Sometimes if I am in the middle of one and then realise that I have already seen it, then I just finish it off and watch it to the end.

lol...sometimes I think I have no memory at all especially when it comes to watching movies. After watching so many horror movies they all seem to be the same to me.

Since I have the habit of coming in the middle of films,I start a film and I finally see the beginning. And when it gets to the middle, it looks familiar.So I stay and finally see the whole film.

That has happened to me a few times before. I will usually just watch it till the end because if I didn't remember that I've seen it, I usually can't remember how it ended. So I will watch it till the end just to remind me how it ends.

It doesn't happend to me , but it happend to my hubby.I was telling him, that we watch that movie already, but he won't believe me, so he started to eatch it again and after 30 minutes he say, yeahhh I saw this one.lol.But he kept watching it.Also we have one movie two times, because he didn't remeber we already purchase that movie about two weeks ago, but we never have seen it all, so maybe that confused him.

yes it has happened to me a lot of times.there are many movies that are boring and dont stay in our mind for long.i too have happened to watch such movies the second time and realised that i have already seen it only half way through.i mostly switch the channel immediately.

I alwasy recall movies I've seen before. Now my wife is the one that is easily forgettable when it comes to movies. She will sit there watching one with me asking if she'd seen it before always saying no. The suddenly she recalls one particualr scene saying, "Oh yeah." HAHAHA!! The only movies on DVD we own that she knows she hasn't seen are the ones still not opened. HAHAHA!!

I have done that before. I usually catch the last part of movies on tv. So when we rent them I dont realize ive seen them till half way through. Oh well, I watch it anyway.

Oh, that has happened to me many times, ctry. I will usually go ahead and finish the movie because I figure if it was good enough to watch once, it should be good enough to watch again. I've noticed that this happens when I wasn't paying full attention the first tinme I watched the movie, then, all of a sudden, a familiar scene will come on and I'll remember it!

This happens to me lots of times. Maybe because I am forgetful or that I watch so many I lose track. I will watch it to the end usually because there are other people here who want to watch it cause they haven't seen it or would like to see it again anyways.
