Did anyone watch the new reality show called Kitchen Nightmares last night?

I knew it was coming on this fall but did not know the exact date but happened to be flipping channels and got to watch this show. Chef Gordon Ramsey is back and the show is similar to Hell's Kitchen but is more about the neatness of the kitchen and the quality of food being cooked and served as well as his opinion of the workers. Did anyone else watch it last night? He really ripped this restaurant in New York because of the rotten food they were serving and the lack of professionalism by the managers and workers plus the messy restaurant. I'm sorry, but who is Gordon Ramsey to talk about lack of professionalism? I stopped watching Hell's Kitchen because he was so rude, and his language was atrocious! That sounds like a neat show that I would watch, but not if it has that Chef in it. Darn!

i LOVE Gordon Ramsey lol the man is awesome! unfortunatly ive only been able to catch 2 episodes of Kitchen Nightmares though. i have seen some re-runs on BBCA from a couple years ago..the british version of course. watching it is kind of disturbing, some of the really gross conditions in restaurants is sickening!! makes me worry about the places ive been to that were far lower "caliber" of a place.

He is awesome and funny, though sometimes really rude. He knows what he is talking about when it comes to good food and good places to eat. I had been looking forward to this show since Hells Kitchen ended and can not wait to see the next episode.

Sorry the only kitchen nightmares I watch are in my own kitched and that's the real reality show..glad you found something else to occupy your phillies game.

I did! We don't watch it all the time. I couldnt even tell you when it's on but if we are channel surfing and find it we always watch it. I think it's great to see how Ramsey just kills these restaurants. I saw I think it was the first one where they served rotten food and had roaches. That was so gross.

I have seen the preview for the show but never got a chance to see it yet. I thought it was a pretty interesting show from what I have seen. I will check out the link when I can here. Thanks for sharing it by the way. I will make time to catch it on TV sometimes here. It sounds like a good show to watch once in awhile.

Heck ya I watch this. I think its great. Plus its an eye opener for some restaurants and for cooking. We've been talking about this on mylot before. And Kgwat, Ramsey really needs to rip into bad cooks and horrific restaurants. I mean what he's saying is what at least half the customers are thinking when they have to dine in a horrible place and consume some poorly cooked or *ugh...* rotten food. Once in awhile a customer or two will actually speak what everyone is thinking. Its better to have someone like Ramsey come in and interfere instead of having it come from customers, or even worse the Health Department.
It is awesome seeing Ramsey transform restaurants that are terrible into much better and more unique places.
