I am Baking a Cake for My Grandson right now!

My Grandson just turned 8 yrs, old today, he is helping me bake his cake, I think it will turn out fine, all I half to do is get some Icing for the Cake and some Ice-cream and Candles, last year around this time, I posted about my Grandson's Birthday. I was trying to find a nice present, and I got some Ideas from, some of you Mylotters. Ok, Please say Happy Birthday to my Grandson Jaquise, I told him I would read all the Happy Birthday replys to him. so come and say Happy Birthday to Jaquise. Thanks Marcie

I took a picture on My Camera Phone with him blowing out the candles, if I was good with computers, I would of put it in this discussion. If I can find out how to email it I will send it to my email and send it to you. I don't know how, they is how I got the picture of my mother and her friend on my profile My Mother is on the right. thanks for replying my grandson will be happy to hear a the replys he got saying Happy Birthday.

That is very nice to do, making rather baking cake as a surprise for someone who mean a lot to you. Im sure Jaquise is very much happy. That is very sweet.

That is sooooooooooo nice to make a cake for and with your Grandson.
He is lucky. I often think of happy times and my Grandma serving me triscuits and seven up, watching all in the family maybe. Simple nice memories.

The Cake was white, with chocolate Icing, He and his sisters really enjoyed the cake, the Ice-cream was Vanilla Strawberry. I am going to bring him over today, and read all the replys everyone sent, I thought that was nice, he will appreciated, when I started the Discussion, I told him what I was going to do, to see how many people would respond, he said Ok, and he got quite a few. He had the biggest smile on his face, when everyone started to reply, saying Happy Birthday,that made his day! thank you, I will read every peply to him.
