Do you think baking bread or other food items saves you money?

One tip for saving money I've recently read is to bake your own breads. I just don't really see how that can save you money, because you have to buy the ingredients - most of which, actually, I have on hand, but it still costs...

DANIEL52 You do save because u bake the amount u want want u buy a loaf most times it goes bad and u have to dump it so thats where u waste your money. Plus as u said home baked bread is much nicer

DANIEL52 Yes, I have made my own bread, I love to bake,when u make your own bread it's what u put into it u get back, when u buy from stores u r not 100% sure of what u r eating thats why I love to make my own breads ands cakes
