Well Vista is different from Xp........and it does need a lot of computer resources....1 GB of RAM at least although i do have 1 Gb.....i think that i need at lest 2 gb so it can run well so i got back on my trusty Xp.

Hi laurentyu1! I am using windows 98 in my laptop because my trusted old laptop can not accomodate a higher version of windows. However our desk top computer has windows xp as its operating system which my husband is using. Take care and have a nice day. :)

Hello laurentyul. I use windows xp as my laptop is too old to match windows vista. I guess that I will use windows vista when I get a new laptop, but it will still take years before I get a new one.

The new computers they are selling have Vista but i think this is because Vista did not had the success Microsoft wanted so they are promoting through new computers.

I use windows xp professional. I used to work in the computer field before I gave up my job to stay at home with my kids. My husband still works in the computer field and he is the one that advised me against going to vista. He said it was way more headache than it was worth.

I actually gave the vista a try on two items I had rented ..and I hated it..Nothing worked right..Right now I have xp on my computer..If I buy a computer .I will probably look for a used one..since I totally disliked the way Vista functioned.

I use XP. I have heard that Vista for now is not very good. I think we must wait some time for using better Windows Vista.

Vista has a good look and a lot of new functions.....but i think people tend to still use Xp because it is a reliable one.

I think that Xp is still a reliable OS yet.....Vista has to be debugged at least 1 year until you can say it would be reliable.

I am using Windows Vista is great and nice operating system in terms of good features specially in a graphics and I don't encounter any problem using Windows Vista. I am using right now Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2. Sometimes I used Windows Vista, but I am like a new beginner when I used it thats why I go back to Windows XP. I will tell you the truth, Windows Vista is a good Operating System, because they have a good configuration and a lot of features rather than Windows XP. I used Windows XP because it is a friendly user.

I also like to use the window XP. I started with Disk Operating System in very early. I also used window 95, and window 98, window 2000, and now I am using window XP. I think every new version of window is becoming more and more complicated. This is causing me to not work in window vista and latter versions of the window.

Of course I use Windows XP. There are many softwares and digital stuff can't support Windows Vista. So I prefer to use Windows XP.

I still use XP at home.... One reason is that my computer could be slow to run Vista... And I only have 40Gb of Hardisk space. I only have 512 Mb Ram and my processor is 2.7 Ghz. :D

Im using Vista and I couldn't love it more.
Its kinda started growing on me.
At first, it was terrible and kept crashing, but when the drivers got better, this hardly ever happens to me anymore.
In fact, I think I remember crashing at least 2x as much on XP.
Setup properly, and kept up-to-date, Vista works almost flawlessly.
