Overcoming life's obstacles is not an easy thing to do. For all problems there are different solutions. How to solve these problems are the most difficult thing to do. The problems that come our way are in different forms and degrees. For me, I face the obstacles in different ways. It depends on what kind of problem is that. I believe that for every problem, there is a corresponding solution. We may encounter the same problem, but it will have different impact one ach of us. How about you, how do solve your problems?

whenever im face with obstacles, i just make sure that i have someone who i can talk to and share my problems with. i know i cant handle it on my own. and it does count if i pray more to HIM who can help me through with all of it.

i do believe that everthing happened to us has its reason.when i feel frustrated ,i will respond to it positively, because i keep wisphering to myself that god will have some other good plans for me.when i feel proud and complacent, i will think that god detests pride, so i will become clam and continue to work hard, for i am afraid of god's future punishment.

God is always good to us. he gives us trials which He knows we can handle and if things seem not alright, then there are other plans for us. god bless.

for me, i overcome obstacles with optimism and faith in Him... i believe that everything happens according to His will to bring good things for those who believe in Him... also, giving thanks to Him through good or bad times also helps...

Problem solving is a part of one's personality. Some people are good and have excellent tools to handle the situation and others have issues rationalizing life's realities. Depending on the situation, who and what it involves, I try to think through what is wise and beneficial. Long term ramifications need to be figured in the equation also. I am fortunate that I have a logical husband and pick his brain when I can't decide what is best for me or the situation. His answers are always very helpful.

You're lucky to have a bestfriend and mom who listen to you. For sure, their suggestions come from the heart. Good day.

Hi,there! Well,it's somehow very common to come across the obstacles in life.I'm an optimistic person so whenever I've got some difficulties,I'm not sad emotionally firstly. Then I try to analyze the situation and see why did it happen and what could I do to solve it.Sometimes I do it all by myself, sometimes I also listen to other's suggestions cause I think no one is omnipotent.I'd like to listen to other's ideas and then come up with a best solution. There're certain cases that we can't get help from others,we can only overcome it by ourselves. Then I try my best to take measures against it.I would do all that I can do to beat the obstacles.

I handle all problems the same..with Prayer. All things become clear when one takes them to Jesus.. Prayer is where I find the solutions for all my problems.

Yes dealing with all the different obstacles in life is just a part of life, I have tried to convince myself that everything happens for a reason, that every bad thing that happens there will be a silver lining at some time it is just meant to be, that when one door closes another opens and a new experience, it is just a part of life...

Thats really tough to give one solid answer to actually..I mean like you, it depends on wht the "problem" or issue is.....Being as analytical as I am though I am very skilled at going at things from various angles and weighing out the pro's and con's etc etc which is makes it much easier to find a solution...I dont see life and all the comes with it in a black and white fashion...I see it in a rainbow of colour so options/solutions/methods etc are plenty :-D

I just handle it lightly, I don't take life to seriously for the fear that life will take me away!;)
If there are obstacles, I guerss we should take careful considerations and observations about it. But not in a point that it already affects us and on how we deal with other people around us, just take time and pressure yourself much about it.
Sometimes, we tend to look for answer further without knowing that the solution is just right in front of us.

In summary I used to handle problems in 2 ways.
If it's really important I will deal with it no matter how much grief and time it will cost me and others.
If it's not I will just kick them out of the door and not losing sleep over it.
Some obstacles are not really what they are. We just see them as obstacles but we could turn them into opportunities if we change our point of view. I have never met anyone without problems. Even those who feel more superior than others, in time life will knock them off their chairs.
Never think we are only the ones with problems, and that nobody is watching. because we are not the only ones with problems and yes someone is watching, waiting to turn the wheel around in our favor. take care.

Yes I agree with you, especially when the problem arise within our self without us realizing that we are the source of the problem.. :D, well my respond to obstacle would be stepping back and reanalyze the problem and try to find the right solution.., although some obstacle are bigger to handle than other. :)

I think you basically summarized the response that anyone would give. You can't answer this question with anything other than it depends on what the obstacle is. We can only come up with a solution that fits the situation.

Well of course, it does depend on the severity of the problem. I think that it is important to have good coping skills. I encounter too many people who do not have "coping skills" and let even little things get the best of them and convince themselves that these circumstances will result in the end of the world. First and foremost, in any situation, big or small, it is crucial to keep your head and calmly anaylze the situation and know that there is a solution, the trick is finding it. One should be able to take things at face value for what they are, accept the things that you can not change in that circumstance and find the best way to move around it or through it. Coping skills are important in every day life, and for those who simply do not have them, I think counseling is always a great alternative. It does not hurt, to have someone teach you these skills and how to handle situations that come your way.
