What's the biggest amount of Cash you've ever had in your hands?

The highest amount of straight up cash, that belonged to me, that I've had in my hands was $1600. The largest amount of cash that I've had in my hands because of work was over $15000. I used to work for an investment firm and our branch accepted cash deposits. We had a client come in one day to make deposits into each of his familys accounts in cash.

The most I've ever had in my hands was 42.000. I had to walk from the bank to my car which was about ten minutes away through a busy street. It was the most terrifying ten minutes of my life even though I was the only one who knew it was in my bag!!! I held onto to that bag for dear life!! :-)

i work as a cashier in one big retail company and the biggest amount of cash i had ever had in my hand is i think about $11,000... that really scares me as i am afraid of being robbed... usually if i have that much money in my til, i straight away send it to the cash office via a clearance machine so that i will feel safer... as for my own cash, i think the most i had ever had in my hand is $2,000...

well once my grandparents gave me about 600$ so i guess thats the highest

Going back about 10 years now, I worked in a car dealership and some couple came in a brought a brand new mercedes benz with cash....I had to report it and all was legit and had to be locked in a room to count it with a witness...It was $162000.00...

The most in my hands would be around 250k but that is because i could not hold more than that but one time I ha 3 million in my trunk. I worked for a company that refilled ATM's and had to drive money to a partnere company and that was all their refill cash. But I would never work for a company like that again because they accused me of stealing 200k after I had not worked there for 2 years. Lucky the police very quickly cleared me.

Its been many times when I have held lot of money in hand, like submitting fees for the semester during our college, withdrawing cash from the bank, many times.. And the biggest amount of money that I have held is Rs. 5,00,000/- which I once withdrawed from the bank abt 6 mnths ago...

Hmmm I've had close to $100,000 at work. I only normally handle about $10,000 at a time at work, but depending on what's going on there are times when I can't get rid of excess cash, or I wind up with extra money responsibility one way or another. Still, that's a lot of money to me, considering my personal money at any given time is more like $20-$40 on my person. :P

I worked as an accountant for a shipping company many years ago and part of my job to secure the cash. There was time that we didnt have work for 4 days so the banks were closed too. being in the transportation business means its very liquid and people pay in COLD CASH. When I opened the vault saturday morning... we counted over P1,200,000 cash. How relieved I was that I were able to arrange with the bank to pick up our collections that day even if its non-working day(saturday), if not, i many not be able to sleep well that night.

Of my own personal money I think the most I have held at one time is around $4000. At a job, probably twice that at any one given time, but over the course of a week or even a money that number really adds up.
