I grew up believing family was the most important thing in life and still do. Too many people grow away from their family then someone dies and they are sorry they werent there. I stay in contact as much as possible. I even suprise my kids now and then. lol Anyone have a belief like this?

Yes I love my family. When you boil it down family is all you have. You can have different types of family. I'm lucky I have a family, not only my blood family I also have a church family. Sometimes differences can hurt your family but it boils down to do you really love that person and are angry with them over something or do you really hate that person. I have some problems with some of my family right now, but as Thanksgiving gorws closer I realize that regardless of bad feelings deep inside i really love my family with all my heart. Thank God for my family whom I love very much, and miss greatlly.

I love my family and I want to teach my kids to stay close and to know that they can always count on family no matter what. My uncles and aunts are also close. When my grandmother passed away almost a year ago somethings changed so I think it was her holding us together. Holidays are alot different with her gone. Before it was every holiday we would be together now some people in my family go off on their own. Now my brother's family, my mom and my family do alot together and very rarely go a day without talking to one another. My brother lives on the next street from me. My mom lives about 5 minutes away. We are very close and if it wasn't for them I wouldn't be here in this city but I couldn't stand to be far away from them. Great topic

I do love my family. Despite the times it hurt, despite the rough points, I love my family. Even the worst of the worst in the extended family... yes there are times I don't like them, but I still love them. I don't want to see them go, or be sick, or hurt. I want them to have life, health and happiness above everything (well similar to others, like friends and just people themselves).

I do love most of my family (there is one person that I don't have any contact with at all though), but we're not an overly close family. We generally tend to get along better the less we see of each other.
I'm happy with the way things are, though I know my sister would like us to all be closer. I prefer to rely on myself though.

Of course I do love my family. They are everything to me. They are my guidance and inspiration. I am afraid to lose anyone of them. I don't know how to live without them..=)
