Almost in every religion it's said directly or indirectly that one should belive in God, who is unseen and imaginary part os science, But we as a living being and intelligient enough to think and process the fact, why should we not belive in ourselves?
I think this something absurd thing we do in our life and follow a path directionless!
Who agrees my thoughts?

I have never been a religious person. I have never found much benefit in books that were written so long ago that they are no longer relevant to the time. I have watched others grovel and sacrifice to fictional characters to the point of ridiculousness, but that's their business. I answer to myself and myself alone. Fortunately I am intelligent enough to give myself good answers, and to seek the divine source within.

I agree that people should believe and trust in themselves more then they do. I don't get how they can trust an invisible person to make decisions for them but not trust their own intellect and common sense.
I don't believe in any god. I do believe in my own ability to deal with life as it comes to me. I also believe in my family and friends to support me through the bad times. I think I am doing pretty good in life.

God is a creator... he created you.. so he is with u in whatever you do. The things you do is also part of what he created... that is ...U!
So you need to believe in urself and has ur believing in yourself your also believing in him has he was your creator!!So everything you do... He gave you the opportunity to do it!! :-)

Actually I think it sounds like she has very strong beliefs. Maybe she came to them by herself and maybe she was taught but I think your comment about brainwash is a little rude and uncalled for. I think its better to disagree with someone than to attack someone.

Everyone is free to follow their own path, including those who ascribe to a religion that indicates the belief in an greater force/being. The practice is useful in that it can get you out of being stuck in a limited view of yourself. If you happen to have a deflated self sense, focusing on something greater can help you to step out of your own self-imposed limitations and actualize activities you did not believe possible. In the end we are all part of the one Spirit, and worshiping a God is the same as acknowledging our own inherent divinity.

it is very simple... it is because God is the one who created us... He is the Creator and we are the creation... that's why we have to believe and trust in Him... we can't believe in ourselves since we do not exist by ourselves... so i disagree with you in this...

See religion is very complicated. I was a Christian for many years. The whole idea of God is that we are his children and a part of him. He created us therefore we are part of him. The path he has given us is the righteous way to our own salvation. So, by believing in god we are believing in ourselves.
Not all religions are like this. You have to find a system that works for you.
