Wow, that looks horrible. I'm so sorry you fell. I fall all the time. Doesn't mean either of us is a dumb a**. Something you might try is taking aspirin. It thins the blood which will help a bruise to disperse more quickly. It might help with the aches and pains you have from the fall, too. :D Hope you get back to feeling ok soon.

oouch that must of hurt but i guess i will join your dumb a*** club because yesterday i was playing and running with ,y kids and then i wanted to go into the kitchen to grab something to drink, well i forgot the dam gate was up and i fell over the gate into the kitchen lol,thank god i was ok though but man it hurt like heck.hope you are feeling better and take care.email me when you get a chance,i have emailed you like 4 times on mylot and 2 on regualr email.i miss talking to you.love pattie

That is not funny, hopefully you are not hurt too bad. I hope the Christmas shopping went ok. My husband called me at work one day, and when I got to the phone, he said my name and as soon as he heard me answer him, he says help me. That was all. Of course, I only lived about 3 minutes away, I turned to my boss and told her I needed to leave, and did not know if I would be back. I did not know whether to call 911 or what. As I get home and get through the door, he is laying at the bottom of the steps and our 14 month old was walking around crying, and calling Daddy's name. He had hit his head and was unconsious until I had gotten home. He had sliced his toe. We have 15 steps and he had fallen carrying our son, down about 12 of them. He was ok, but it was quite a scare, I called his mom and asked her to come over and sit with him because he would not go to the hospital and get checked out. I was scared because of him hitting his head. I did go back to work, but not for a little while. Those falls can be deadly. Glad you are ok.

Okay, CAREFUL on the steps Copper! Please be careful! Now that that's done, I'm glad you are okay. I was getting a bit worried seeing this. Just be careful on the steps, its nothing to rush. And I think everyone's slipped on the steps sometime in their lives. When I was young I busted myself up bad slipping down. It wasn't great. I think that may have triggered my better care on steps. Even if I slip, somehow I have presence of mind to catch, brace or stop. Its interesting. I mean just the other day I was about to slip again, but caught myself within a second!

Copper, are you trying to create a new sport?, haha, like Extreme Stair Surfing?, haha! Poor girl, that looks like it really was a painful one, ouch! And then, you have to go Christmas shopping, ohhh, go figure ya know. And I wanted you to have a fun day! Yes, I've fallen up the stairs in my younger days, a couple of times. And I like you laugh at myself after a while, it's like, are you kidding me, falling UP the stairs, who does that?, haha!....me and you. Down is the easy one. So glad nothing is broke, whew, that would have been a Christmas you'd never forgot!

Whoa! That gotta hurt! Next time be careful in walking up and down in those stairs. You may get hurt a lot and those stairs are lethal. Just try to remember what happened everytime you need to go to the basement so you'll take extra care. I have an idea! Why don't you put up a "Watch your step" sign! hehe Like the one in malls and other establishments. That way, you'll always get to remember what had happened and you will be a lot more cautious. Just try it! Maybe It will help you and your hunny in those stairs. Be careful.

OUCHIES! That looks painful my friend. I am so sorry to hear about you falling down and up the stairs. I haven't fallen up the stairs since I was a teenager and had a few too many lol, and I can't remember the last time I fell down the stairs it's been a while! Hope you feel better soon hun! Holy cow woman...You have the same problem with stairs as I do...It must be hereditary...LOL..Let's see, you went surfing on your stairs, instead of water, and you got a tattoo out of the deal, not bad...LOL
