What do you typically eat for breakfast in your part of the world? In America a breakfast may consist of any of the following.
Cereal (cold=Corn Flakes or hot= oatmeal, Cream of Wheat)
Fruit
Toast (I like mine with butter and jelly)
Eggs
Bacon
Sausage
Pancakes
Yogurt
Fried potatoes (hash browns)
I don't like eggs except boiled so I might have a boiled egg. I love French toast and pancakes but only make it on some weekends. I usually just eat fruit or yogurt, toast and jelly or oatmeal occasionally.

Well I'm in America, and I eat an Egg and Cheese sandwich (or Bagel) every morning. It's toaste (or a toasted bagel) with a fried egg and cheese on it. Yummy.
You also forgot about things like poptarts and waffles or toaster strudels as I think they're also breakfast cereals.
Plus things like Milk or Orange Juice or coffee to drink.
I have Iced tea to drink myself or on rare occasions I have hot tea or milk.

Here in the Philippines, rice is the primary food either in breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
In the morning, I usually eat rice with fried eggs or bread with cheese as main toppings with it.
I also drink a hot cup of tea or chocolate every morning.:-)

It really depends on where I am at with what I eat for breakfast.
Here in NJ:
Pancakes with or without sausage links or bacon
French Toast (same as above)
Eggs, Toast, fried potatoes sometimes with bacon
doughnuts from Dunkin Doughnuts with coffee
toasted bagel with ham and cheese
In Mississippi:
Eggs, toast, grits, corned beef hash or maybe bacon
Biscuits and sausage gravy
Chicken and white pepper gravy
Doughnuts from Tato Nut (the best doughnuts anywhere!)with coffee
In New Mexico:
Eggs, bacon (and my husbands whole family has red chili) always with a tortilla
Navajo fry bread (YUM!!!)
Or, if we go out to eat, I will get pancakes with cherries and whipped cream or a Belgian waffle with strawberries and whipped cream with coffee.
From McDonald's; bacon, egg and cheese McGriddle with a hashbrown and Coke.
I used to live on cereal but as I got older I just couldn't take the milk anymore. I would get such a bad stomach ache.

Here in Singapore, we consume a whole variety of things for our breakfasts, besides the usual coffee and tea. It can vary from breads and toasts (with butter, jam, peanut butter, kaya, sardines, ham, tuna, etc) and French toast, to eggs, cakes, muffins, pasties like puffs and pies, dumplings, noodles, or to local delicacies like porridge, fried carrot cake, turnip dumpling and rice dumpling. We can also be eating western-styled meals like hotdogs, hamburgers, hashbrowns and fries, or full English breakfasts complete with eggs, toast, bacon and ham. With such a wide variety available for me to choose, I can only say that I usually enjoy my breakfast meals.

Anything will do with me- either a cereal, a bread, or rice. But usually, I'm into heavy meal since morning is the right time to eat plenty to sustain the whole day's work.

My breakfast is orange juice, or whatever I can eat for breakfast. Most of the time, I have no time to eat, so I just eat or drink what I can get.

Hi dreamy1. I am an Asian and mostly I eat heavy breakfast the same as most of other Asians here. Usually I eat fried rice, rice cooked with coconut milk, fried noodles or soup noodles. But I also eat western breakfast such as cereals ( I adore cornflakes so much), scrambled eggs, hot dogs or burgers. French toast and pancakes, I like them too but I don't eat them that often. I guess I am a typical Asian who prefer to eat local food more.
