What do you think about the technique of the designers of manga and if you typically read mangas which you most like and why? What are your favorite characters?

I think its excellent. Especially the eye format found in both manga and anime. It allows such expression of character and emotion. Of course thats not the whole thing with manga, the action and how things fold out is also pretty great. Very vivid, a bit different from comics at times. Most require a bit of imagination too but that's also very good and fun. Fave characters... too many to list. Usually my avatar has one of the many. Ranma, Urusei Yatsura, Negima, Chrono Crusade, Ah My Goddess and plenty others.

When I read manga, I find it very impressive in the sense that the mangaka or the ones involved in its production are able to invoke the feelings or the emotions within the setting illustrated in the panels, aside from the obvious emotions carried out from the gestures and expressions of the characters drawn. I find a lot of recognition for it, aside from drawing as one of my interests which would obviously influence my subjectivity towards it. Setting aside the right to left script reading, the transition of the dialogues, be it spoken or within charcter thoughts, are also impressive. Getting use to the transition makes the story flow accordingly. I either read Shonen or Shoujo ones with Romance-Comedy in its theme and settings with School-Life though I also read others with action, suspense and the rest that catches my attention. So far as of posting this response to this discussion, my favourite characters would be those in the "Genshiken" series of Kio Shimoku
