girl, can you be married to a man who is shortter than you ?

It depends upon quality and qualification, earning and nature of the man whom I decide to marry if he some short length than me but not too short that may make laugh by other people..lol

Hi yinhuan! given my height of only 5'2" i'd rather marry a guy that's taller than me. He has to be at least 5'5". This is so because i want my future children to be taller unlike me. I especially wish to have a pretty and tall daughter who would someday become a beauty queen. lol

I have no problem at all being with a man shorter than me. I don't think height matters as long as you have a good relationship and you both really care about each other.

since your are new on mylot,my warm welocme to you Yinhuan.though i am married and that too married with a man who is taller than me,so i did not had to face tis situation.however i guess height would ont matter to me,if the guy really loved me form the core of his heart.because for me love is above all.i have seen many couples where guy is shoter than girl and they are happy as well.i think looks or height does not matter in love.

hello, yin! in rare circumstances a handsome girl would prefer a short height man to be her partner.because it is not a good match.besides, there is apprehension that the children of such couple may be dwarf.so while selecting your partner you should give due attention to this aspect and select the best among all.thank you and good luck.

If I can think most of important thing in marriage I would say, love definitely and appreciation. Coz without that 2 thing marriage isn't a marriage for me. But married to a shorter man than me, I don't think so..until now I never been in love with a shorter man than me..and I grateful for that.

dear yinhuan, i m not sure that height of our partner can be barrier to us to get married. the most important thing in marriage is to make new family and united of two different world. in fact, my husband is shorter few inch than me. but i dont make it being big problem. he also not mind by that. when we attending party or social gathering, i would prefer not to wear high heel., and thanks GOD coz i not too like to wear high heels.

Dear Yin, Still not happen to me but if just 1 inch thats normal its not a big deal, if we are talking about foot already i think so. but if LOVE will behind on his shorter we cannot say anything just to present your love to him back as what he is. Love is blind.

Of course, in love height does not matter. In marriage, the most important ingredient is genuine love and respect for each other. When decisions concerning love and marriage is affected and influenced by the person's physical aspects, I think that the love felt is not true and deep.

I would marry a man who was shorter than I was. Hight is very low on my list of deal breakers for marriage.

Hallo Yin, I see you are new here and I thought I should respond to your discussion. Marrying a man shorte than me was a no way since I was young. My dream man was above 5'5 and I never fancied short men at all. But if true love came my way packaged in a shorter man then I would have loved him back. My fiancee is 5'9 and am really happy.

love can happen to any two people no matter the size.. so i guess, yes. i would if i were in love with the guy. but i'm just not personally attracted to shorter men. i've always liked taller guys, or at least the same size as me. it's just how i envision it being. the man taller than the woman. by no means am i saying it's wrong for the woman to be taller though. it's just that personally i prefer taller men.
