guy + girl are friends. but why would he do these things to her and then says "just friends"
-kiss her (forehead, cheek, hands)
-dance together
-hug
-tickle
-hold hands
-once called her honey or baby
-being protective
-pucker up his lips, in a teasing way
-lean closer to her face
-look deeply in her eyes
-spend money for her
-straighten her jacket

I agree with wing. There has to be sth more than friendship behind his acts.Maybe she should attempt a clear discussion on the matter with him and they should define the feeling there is. My suggestion would be, the girl should first decide what SHE feels about the guy. Because if guy accepts he is in for more than friendship, then the girl could be caught in surprise, and her reaction might actually hurt him.

Women do plenty of this (most certainly in the cesspool I call home). Though I've been in relationships, I've also encountered more of the behavior you described in women than men. I'll say this, both genders do this because they are under the impression they can get away with it (because plenty of people both genders are attention starved). Unfortunately due to how warped things are, they are correct. How hideous.
I have another explaination. It could be the guy's personality, or trying to be chivalrousand she misunderstood his acts (hmm...maybe another double standard for me to note). I'll note this example for future reference.

Before I forget the second idea notes other things like straightening up the jacket and what not. He could still be a clown or something. Either way, he might have to be talked to.

I guess you are lovelorn .In China,we think foreigner, such as American and European, are very open in word and deed, though they are different gender.I am internal and traditional, and never say or do such thing you said.Maybe you are living in an very open atomsphere,so I advise you stick to some principles such as that you like him and he must adimmit he is not just your friend, otherwise it is advisable not to contact him.Do you think so?
