I get atleast 10 a day. I do NOT pass them on. And if I know that is what they are before I open them, I will not open them. I think that my friends would get mad at me if I sent those to them all the time, don't you? I think it's a waste of time and I don't believe in them, do you?

I will if it's funny or a sweet story. I always add in the beginning that I didn't pass it along because of the whole "bad luck or good luck" part. I just wanted to share the funny story or whatever it is. Otherwise, I think they are dumb. I mean really, you will never have goo dluck again if you do not send this to 5 people in 5 minutes....LMAO

Nope, if you don't read them and just ignore them, then noting can go wrong. It's a waste of time mostly.

I HATE chain letters! Come on! If you're emailing it to me, you obvisouly know me. In knowing me, you should know I am a SAHM with 3 kids to keep up with, I don't have the time for that nonsense!
Close to chain letters, those stupid emails warning you about this or asking you to boycott that... upon doing a little investagative work (mostly at snopes.com) I find them to be inaccurate! Don't waste my time, find out the truth before you pass it on to 25 other people. Does anyone even really care about 1/2 of that stuff anyway?!

I don't. I have one friend who sends me them and I hate it. I feel like maybe the bad luck is rubbing off on me because I don't send them on. I wouldn't want someone else to feel the same way. And why do some people just love to forward things like crazy. I get a ton of emails that are poems or funny stories that are well entertaining but sure add up and they are have a list a mile long of who they went through.

With the advent of the Internet and getting so many spam chain mails, I find it hard to believe that anybody still believes in chain mails. Why do people even bother forwarding them? Surely they don't think they work. Does anyone know why they bother?

oh i hate those things! nothing but spam as far as im concerned. yeah right, like passing on a stupid email to 10 ppl is somehow magically gonna make your wish come true.
unfortunatly i have an aunt who sends that crap to everybody she knows. you'd think that after me not sending it back to her that she would get the picture, but nope..ignorance is bliss i guess.

I hate chain letters. I rip them up and throw them in the trash where they belong.

i don't pass them along either. they are a waste of time as you said. obviously nothing can happen to you just because you don't forward a message to 10, 15, 20 people.
i don't get them all that often though. i used to get quite a handful by email though. now people just post them as bulletins on myspace and everything - which isn't AS annoying because, unlike emails, it's not sent directly to you so you don't always even see that it's been posted. but it's still annoying and i don't know why people waste their time with them.

I know a lot of people pass on these type all of the time. Sometimes it is to just get to know someone better, and other times they are just things that make Empty promises. Actually, I have seen people post stuff like that in here as well, in discussions and messages as well.
I now know what they are also, and delete them without opening them as well. It would be nice if someone would finally realize what a pain these are, and quit trying to keep on passing these around all of the time.

Nope, they're annoying. Since I find them so annoying, and since they're just a load of crap, I find it quite pointless to pass them on. I don't want to annoy other people. When I was a kid, I used to pass them on because I found them funny and 'cool' I guess because everyone was doing it. However, now I just find them a huge annoyance, and junk mail so they never leave my inbox, except to be deleted.

I think chain emails should be banned or be considered as spam... some are nice and cute but a lot are threating... they would say that i would die or a family member would die... or get this really really bad luck for like 20 years...
I hate those chain emails... who ever started them do not know the effect of what they did... i don't open chain emails and i delete them immediately eventhough the were sent to me by my friends...

During my first time in reading emails, I used to forward them to friends. Right now, so many chain letters to open so I haven't got the time to read and forward them. I remember the things that a priest told one day, that chain letters may or may not be opened most of the time. It's your choice! Your friends will understand if you won't send them.

I hate the chain letters. In my opinion, they're junk mails, and it makes me feel annoying when I get one. A lot of them always say someting unhappy would happen to me or to my family member.I used to pass them on for good luck. But now they're deleted as soon as i recognize what it is.
