hello bala,
i was quite busy these days and so couldn't get time to spend here in mylot.and in these days a lot has changed here.i was very surprised to see this ranking levels given to our interests.i don't know much about it.i hope to know it better once i get into the discussions with my usual passion and enthusiasm.
i am actually confused with these rankings and i can't say anything regarding it as i am underestimated or not.but it is obvious that when i see my name associated with a higher level,it feels nice,i feel happy.but if it is not i am laid down.i think they have some calculations based on which they rate our levels.but i am trying to get good rankings in all the interests that i have.

I can't even pay attention to them anymore.
The negative button works...but there is no going up to get a better star when I know I deserve it.
And the interest ranking...like that is going to work any better. Not!

The rankings are very unfair. I don't just think I am underestimated but, other members are also. The way other members are allowed to either mark you a plus which is positive or a minus which is negative. If you keep getting minus then your rating will go down, but this can happen if you have answered a very heated discussion. I experience negative ratings because I am a Christian a lot of people don't like that so they will rate me negative. I try not to respond to too heated arguments because it just isn't worth it. Sometimes it is just games that people play to prove who is popular. Or you have upset someone and they rate you all negative. The star rating doesn't show how good a member you are it is a very unfair system and I think that mylot should change the system so that it is fairer.

I don't mind my ratings. It does not reflect my whole self at all. Besides, these are only numbers that reflect nothing at all. Higher number does not mean anything at all, it's only numbers. One can have a high ranking but can that person have a high amount of money earned already? Or that person can have a high ranking but is he or she really have a high quality of posts? It's only numbers.

I just log in now with myLot after several days of not myLotting. I was surprised to see the interest level ranking printed in red. As of now I could not yet fully understand how this level ranking came about. How do myLot assess the level ranking, is it on the frequency or how many times myLot member participated in a particular interest? I can't say I am underestimated. I guess its only myLot who can elaborate how this system work.

Some are underestimated. I still have beef with my science rating. -_-
Inversely, there are plenty of people sitting on high ratings even though their participation is low and they haven't been in the interest for months. This added rating system is pretty flawed and doesn't keep up with more current mylotting. It might be a hard calculation, but still, its something that stands out in this situation.

Most of mine, unless it is is a New subject or interest in here for me, are at 16, so I am at the highest I can be. But this is a Good thought, especially for the people who are Newer in here to work towards if you are unhappy with them.

Well, as someone who has been a Faithful member here in myLot for over 14 months now, this is a little hard to figure out, and I am not sure how it really works yet to make that decision here or not. Wish they could explain it a little more for us, so we would all know more, and then be able to go from there.
