I've always had fun bumping and making friends here, I still fondly remember when I first joined and how I was quickly accepted into a great bunch of people. This is pretty much stuck with me since roaming mylot, I love keeping update on their discussions. (Less now then before but still)
Even in the early days I thought this place felt homely.
Recently I've decided to make a few changes, I'm finally going to sort out my friend list and keep those who are important to me. Friendship, is one of the best things about this place. so much better than picking up lose change, many dould do that walking around outside... lol
So to my friends who active, I'll see you around.

Gee Joey, what a brilliant thought. I am sure we could all pick up as much lose change by walking around about equal to the earnings we make here. And the exercise wouldn't hurt us none compared to sitting at the computer for hours at a time. Great idea.

Wow, a 50 cent piece on the playground? That is a nice find! I always consider half-dollars as something special. I have quite a few that I've saved over the years. So, did you save it, or spend it?
I've stumbled across a few nice finds. Twice I found a $20 bills on the ground in parking lots. I've found a few single dollar bills. Yet, my big find was once when I was a wee lass, my family stayed in a motel on one of our cross-country trips. My folks got a roll-a-way bed for me, and when we openned it up, out fell a gorgeous opal & diamond gold ladies ring. It was many years before I was able to wear it, but wow, what a find!
Naturally, we did let the motel management know about the ring, and provided contact info in case anyone reported it lost. To our surprise, we were never contacted. The really cool thing is that the folklore of opals is that they are supposed to bring great luck if gifted by a loved one, or especially if found. Hmmm, maybe the luck is in the finding, eh?

lol. I wish I had the agility to do that. I have to get in a bit better shape for some bike riding. And speaking of horses, that is a great idea to go horseback riding. I remember when I was probably about 12 years old finding a whole half dollar in the school play yard. Thus far, that has been my biggest find...lol.

Hi Joey,
That is a very good policy. I like your idea. I didn't think I'd get as many friends as well when I've first joined Mylot, but it happened. It's a great place to meet new friends indeed.

That is true. This place really does not feel like other places. It is very homely and most of the people are polite and friendly. That is the reason I keep coming back here. I haven't been very regular, but please don't kick me out of your friends list. I like reading your posts.

Interesting you mention that Joey, because one of the things I did while I was home this past two weeks was going through my friend's list and do some clean up.
I also turned on some notifications of friends that I usually enjoy the discussions and would like not to miss.
WHen I started I always had them on. Then I realized it was impossible to respond to all - not counting the fact that not all interested me - and turned them all off. Now I just got some friends on and I think I like it this way :)

Hello Joey_matthews,
It's nice to see you back! You're right about the friends here, they're the cat's meowww! Or, more appropriately for me (since we have five dogs), the dog's howl.
You're certainly not the first to sort through your friends list. I've known quite a few to have done the same, myself included. There are many who have not participated here in eons (OK, that's a bit extreme). Yet, the point is that some folks who were active way back when have moved on. Some have offered heart-felt, sincere good-byes, others have simply drifted away.
I'm just glad to see you here again, and look forward to your input.

But i keep on thinking, WHAT IF THEY decide to come back!! lol after all I did!! Just how many people do you have on your friends list anyways ? Mine i think is around 200 it owuld take a long time to go through them all in one day!

Hi Joey, sorry you haven't seen me around for a while, and the reason being is that so many of the really good posters have left and we are Left with garbage for the most part, and I just haven't got the time or the effort to sift through most of it as well I have checked 2 discussions and both were posted over a year ago, so it shows you how desperate we are for quality posts, at least I am, and I do remember you as one of the good ones, so delete me if you wish because I will not promise to read all the posts, but I like you really need to go through and delete all the inactive friends who for lack of better words have gone else where.

I never bother tog o through my friends list. It would take WAY too much time. I respond to those I regularly do, and have a rapport with. The others, and there are many, that spew garbage discussions, I just turn off the notification for their discussions... Hope I stay on your list :)

I think I may have to clean out the friends list soon enough.
As for your thoughts I'm glad for the sentiments. Friends can be great on the lot. And we'll be seeing you around too Joey.

Hi Joey,
I always enjoy seeing you here, and wonder what you're doing, when you're not around for awhile. I believe you are one of my first friends here, and it was you who invited me, which I appreciate. I hope all goes well, as you 'sort out your list,' and that I'll continue to see you around. I've been thinking of taking a look at mine as well, and seeing who hasn't been on 'in a very long time,' etc. Take care.:)
