I have been noticing that a lot of things are going online too. TV shows and stuff. If I had to pick between my tv and computer I would pick the computer. Also if I need some software I can go online and use it there. I think it is a great idea for me and have used it. Comes in handy and cheaper then buying it at the stores.

I have been slowly going this route, and it seems to be working thus far. It does require a slightly different mind set, and of course it means that you have to be able to connect to the internet. What has been working for me is a combination of online applications, and portable applications on my 8gb SanDisk USB thumb drive. That way I can work anywhere I can access a computer with a USB drive. For non-gaming uses I think my ultimate goal would be to get a super light weight laptop with few bells and whistles except for fast internet wireless capability and a USB drive.
