Can you believe it? The Giants won!I am in shock. The Giants played well but they gave the Boys chances to come back and they blew every one of them! When the playoffs started, my Giants, Redskins, Seahawks, and the Steelers had made it and I didn't think Any of them would win their first game. And now the Giants are in a position where they could go to the Super Bowl? Wow. I guess that is why they play the game. Now that it will be the Packers vs. The Giants, who do you think will win? And why?

That game was a mixture of good and sloppy. I wasn't really into the game much, but my dad, my sister and brother in law were cheering for the Dallas Cowboys - the saw the upset everyone was pretty down.
Now we live in San Diego County - our Chargers played a very very tough game earlier against the Colts. That was an awesome game! You couldn't imagine how many cars were honking outside having their charger bolt flags on their trucks and cars. My neighbors next door we're screaming out their lungs and same with us we just got outside to shake hands and give hugs.
About the Super Bowl? Well let's not talk about it yet! But about the Packers and Giants - ooooh! now that's going to be a good game.
Now the Patriots are sitting pretty at the moment still no defeats yet. They have a bigger change to make it to the Super Bowl. If the San Diego Chargers beat the Patriots next week I couldn't imagine how insane this city will be here, especially in Downtown. So far the NFL heat is rising!

My sister is a huge Charger fan so we were screaming and singing " San Diego Super Chargers!" If they beat the Patriots, you should make the next day a school and work holiday and celebrate properly.I hope the Chargers can do it.With the Packers and the Giants, I hope the best team wins because whichever AFC team is waiting will be hard to beat. i am a Giant fan but I do like Favre too. So if my giants have to lose, I would it be the Packers than either AFC team.

It was a huge victory today for the New York Giants. Going into the game as underdogs against the number 1 seed Dallas Cowboys was no easy task so it is very understandable to believe that the Giants have all the momentum in the world.
The problem, however, is that the Green Bay Packers are still the better team in their match up next week. Brett Favre has been playing as well as ever and his surrounding cast has been outstanding. After the first two fumbled drives, the Packers offense was unstoppable against the Seahawks defense. Keep in mind that the Seahawks come into the playoffs with the number 5 ranked defense in the league and 4 Probowlers going to Hawaii. The Packers have simply been outplaying their opponents in every aspect. The pass protection was spectacular giving Favre ample time to find his weapons downfield. Ryan Grant finished the game strong. There is no reason to believe that the Packers will have any trouble scoring points against the Giants.
What may end up playing in the Packers' favor the most is the fact that the game will be played in Green Bay. The Frozen Tundra will be a daunting hurdle for Eli Manning and the Giants. The Packers are too accustomed to the playing conditions to be significantly fazed while the Giants may need to adjust to playing on the road in difficult conditions. Eli Manning has been throwing the ball well recently and that has sparked their success. The difficulties confronting him in the upcoming matchup will be too great to overcome.

You reminded me, didn't I hear that Eli doesn't like playing in the cold? This should be interesting to watch.

I believe that this game didn't even matter! The Packers will destroy the Giants next week and they will play the Pats for the Super Bowl. The Packers are unstoppable at Lambo and it will probably snow again giving them even more of an edge. I just can't wait to see the Pat and Packers!

lilmister, looks like you are going to have to wait....until next year at the least!!! Giants aren't destroyed and the "unstoppable" were, um, STOPPED!!!! And I do so believe this game mattered to both the Giants and the Packers.
Kudos to the Giants!!
PEACE

My favorite part about the Giants winning is that the NFC championship game will be in Lambeau field and Frank Caliendo will dress up as John Madden during the pregame show and pick the Packers. Sing it with me everyone. "My Brett Favre's back and your defense is in trouble. Hey now, hey now. My Brett Favre's back." Even though I'm a Redskins fan. GO PACK.

Classic. I am both a Redskin and Giants fan and I won't be too sad if the Packers win.

Yes, the playoffs have been a little crazy so far this year. This Giants vs. Packers game is going to be a good one. I think this game has going into overtime written all over it. Whenever I think a game is going to be super close, I go with the home team. I am going to pick the Packers 27 to 24.

Well I can see a blow out for my Giants if it snows or is very cold. But if the temperature is around 40 degrees , the Giants have a glimmer of hope. But I wouldn't be surprised if the Packers win a close one.

As soon as the Giants beat Tampa Bay last week I had a funny feeling that they would beat the Cowboys today. They just looks like a completely different Giants team than they have been all year long. I knew they would match up good against the Cowboys and that the defensive line would put pressure on Romo. It was a huge win for the Giants, but I do have to say that Romo just looked completely frustrated. He couldn't do much of anything right. Twice I saw him roll out of the pocket and take a sack when he had plenty of time to throw it out of bounds. Then he throws it away while inside the pocket and gets an intentional grounding called on him. The Giants were the better team today.
However, next Sunday will probably be a different story. The Giants have go to go to Green Bay. "The Frozen Tundra" One of the hardest places to win on the road and even more so now that Bret Favre is on a mission to capture yet another ring. Do I think Giants have a chance to beat Green Bay? Of Course. Do I think they will? No.

I say good work Giants. I saw the game too and it was pretty good. As for the Packers vs Giants, I hope the Giants can pull through on that one too.
