Finally gave birth!!

So it all started at around 1pm on sunday january 20th..i had mild contractions, every 4 to 10 minutes, nothing steady, nothing insupportable..sort of like period cramps, times 10 i'd say. And in the morning, i had some bleeding. So i had called the hospital and they told me it was normal. SO, went to bed on sunday, still with those mild cramps, and woke up in pain at 4:30 in the night, thought i'd die from this terrible cramp!! It was my first real contraction. I timed my contractions afterwards, and they were more and more painful, some of which i couldn't even stay sitting down, i had to bend down forward and lean on my arms and balance my body from left to right..but they still weren't regular, ranging anywhere from 3 minutes to 12 minutes, so when i called the hospital, they told me to stay home...then i called my doc's office, cuz i had an appointement that day (monday, 21st of jan.) and wanted to know if i needed to come in or go to the hospital. When her secretary heard that i was at 40 weeks that day, had some bleeding since the previous morning and contractions, she told me not to take any chances and head on to the ER, which i did, and once there, they told me to go to the Birthing unit!! So there i went, they tested to see if my contractions were the real deal and to see how dilated i was. By then, it was 11h30 am on monday morning, january 21st. So they decided to keep me and induce me, they gave me pitocin, broke my water, gave me the epidural (thank God!!!!!!!) and at 4:43 am on tuesday morning, january 22nd was born our son Matteo!! He weighted 7lbs10oz and mesured 20.5". He is sooooo precious!! I added a pic!
