So many people today listen to their favorite music on iPods or some similar device. I personally like to crank up the stereo either in the house or in the car. For me, there is something uplifting and almost transcendent about listening to music and singing along. I guess because much of the music I listen to is about God or I make it a song sung to Him even if it's not written that way. :) I really don't listen enough, actually. I guess I prefer to sing whatever song is in my head.
How do you listen to music?
Do you use a stereo or ipod or another type of device?
How often do you listen?
Do you sing along?

I listen in my computer with the headphones, a few times I use the speakers. The volume is never very high so no additional hearing damage might occur. I don't even have a stereo system for a long time now.
I have an iPod and used a lot for running and taking bus and metro but not anymore. It's being sometime that I don't sing alone a music, except in church services.

I'm on my computer so much, I either listen to it in iTunes, or online (like AOL Music or something like that). I almost always have my music on, though, because I love listening to it so much. I have an iPod, too, but I don't use it as much as I used to, because I don't go out as often (I used to hafta wait at the library to get online). As for singing along, if I know any of the lyrics, and no one's listening to me, I sing like there's no tomorrow. Especially whenever it's one of my favorite songs. I sometimes even hum along to my classical music.

I used my computer and my headphones. I put my favorite music, mostly classical, opera, and from the Church concerts we have had for the last few years. I do not have an ipod YET and besides I do not have the money to buy one. I usually listen to classical and opera, but I am also a singer, so when I am not at my computer and my husband is not in the computer room on his computer, I will practice on the organ (do not have a piano keyboard YET) a song I am trying to learn.

I listen to music in the car, on the stero at home or on my computer. I do sing out loud when no one else is around. Don't want to hurt their ears. ;) I don't listen on an ipod or mpeg player because I don't have one. My husband does, but I don't use his because I gave it to him a couple years ago for Christmas and I if I start using it I'll want it. Eventually I'll get one or buy the stuff to make my phone one - it'll only be $80 for for the software and cable, but not including the memory card. I'll wait until I really need it, which will be the next time I fly in a plane.

I play cassettes and sing loudly and off key. I play them every day if I can.

Usually I listen to music on my computer, with its speakers. Quite a lot of what I listen to has been downloaded, and is mostly accapella hymns.
My husband has an ipod he uses with a radio transmitter in his truck while he's at work (trucker) to listen to music and sermons.
We actually don't have a regular stereo in the house except my daughters cassette player.
