The oddest thing happened....

I walked out of my apt and in the parking lot was a penny. I picked it up. I went to Target, (spent some money) and walking back to my car, I see another penny and pick it up. I travel on to my allergy doctors office, park, and see a penny on the sidewalk going toward the office and pick it up. I drive around the other side of the mall to Wetzel Pretzel and get out, and there is a penny on the road. I pick it up. I go to Sears (NEVER go there, but had a Gift card) and coming out, there is a penny in the middle of the cross walk, I pick it up. I come back to my apt, and get out of the car, and there is another penny on the ground as I walk toward my apt. Another funny thing....every penny was a bright shiney penny! Any idea what this is telling me?

Wow, What a lucky day. Once I went shopping and I found a $50 bill. I looked ofr the owner and couldnt find one so I went on in to the store. On my wai I found a $20. I again looked ofr the owner and there was no one around. I figured it was my lucky day. I wish I could have more days like that, but that would mean that someone else would be having a bad day and I dont wish that.

Good for you! Wish I could find the paper instead of the coin! That has NEVER happened to me. Heck, I have never found a coin other than a penny!

Wow. Several things immediately came to my mind while reading of your journey. First was that when one finds a penny that is 'heads' up' it is indicative of good luck to come. Secondly I couldn't help but keep thinking, 'Pennies add up to dollars.' Each of these were things that my dear grandmother used to say to me. No matter what, you are six cents richer. Too bad you can't do that everyday! Hubby and I put all of our pennies into a large jar and each year when we are ready to leave on vacation we take that jar to the bank. Last year we had enough for our first tank of gas. I'm sure that won't be the case this year with the outrageous gas prices!

It is telling me that you have good luck. Count up all the pennies. That is the amount of days you will have good luck. Remember the saying, " See a penny, pick it up. All day long , you will have good luck."

Hopefully you're in for a long stretch of good luck my friend :) Worse case scenario you have a few extra cents in your pocket LOL But my wish is that it is the first one and that you will be able to enjoy that good luck coming your way.

I'd sure wish for the first option too! But I'll settle for just a few cents closer to my (hopefully) monthly treat of a Big Mac! As "bad" as they are for you, yet as cheap as they are and as good as they are, I have to really work to not get one every day and if I treat myself once a month it satisfies my craving!

I do not know what it tells you, but it tells me that you are observant and look where you are walking - you are also frugal to stoop down and pick up the penny - furthermore you have exercised your waist and abdomen with each bending over. you are not lazy. or, could it be "pennies from heaven"?

well i dont want to sound superstitious but as i read this post a friend standing by just whispered wow this fellow must be getting close to some luck well maybe you are about to get a windfall in your business i advise you put in more effort in whatever you are doing so that you get better results and not penny results you should be counting in notes and not coins, good luck my friend!

A Penny saved is a penny earned? I have no idea, but I see nothing wrong with collecting pennies. Many people do not even try to save them and just drop them whereever.

Yeah, that's the saying, but I never saw the connection! (LOL!) Picking up a stray penny is not earning it - good grief is that all I am worth? And then just cause you saved a penny doesnt' mean you earned it...probably just picked it up off the ground!

After reading your discussion I thought of a poem I read a long time ago. So I had to go and do a search. So here it is, Pennies From Heaven I found a penny today Just laying on the ground But it’s not just a penny This little coin I’ve found Found pennies come from heaven That’s what my Grandpa told me He said angels toss them down Oh, how I loved that story He said when an angel misses you They toss a penny down Sometimes just to cheer you up Make a smile out of your frown So don’t pass by that penny When you’re feeling blue It may be a penny from heaven That an angel’s tossed to you Copyright © 1998 C. Mashburn I don't find pennies on the ground that often, so in your case someone was trying to get your attention I guess.

Don't know about the angels other than I sure could use them elsewhere, but it does bring a smile when I pick them up. I used to save htem for my GD and drop them and let her pick them up but she isn't around much these days so Ijust add them to my "treat myself" item of the month.

I think I would be going to a lot of places to see if the penny grows into bills. Hahaha! That's an amazing story! Sounds like a one in a million happening! Maybe you are set for some good luck in life?

Yeah, that's my luck, the one in a million that finds a bunch of pennies but never the one in a million that wins a million dollars! Oh well!!!!

And if not, I give them to my grand daughter for when we play "store" with a cash register and I teach her how to count/make change, as athey don't seem to teach that in school's anymore!

That's an odd incident, very odd. I think that maybe these are maybe signs that you are a very lucky person, or that you need the luck. You know everyone always says that pennies right side up can bring good luck and fortune, but then again who knows.

Sure, the Cosmos is saying "Get your head out of the clouds!" Just kidding. Seriously, though, I think it is just reaffirming what my prophetic pumpkin seeds said a while back about 2008 being a prosperous year for me and for my myLot friends. Finding money of any denomination is always a good omen, I think.

I'm not sure but I went thru a spell of finding dimes just everywhere I went. It went on for a couple of months and then stopped. It was so frequent that it couldn't escape my attention.

That sounds like a month's worth of interest on my savings account at home in Canada! ;-) I love it when things like that happened. Last week my husband and I found a roll of nickels that someone had dropped. It had split open. We scooped 'em all up, and took 'em home to re-roll and deposit in the bank. Sometimes we are just lucky. I'm not sure what that odd situation is trying to tell you. Maybe it's just your guardian angel tlling you to have a good day.

I had a similar experience a couple years ago. One day I kept finding dimes all day long! I found the first one at the door going into work, and then throughout the day would look down and find another dime at my feet! After about the 5th or 6th time this happened I was telling my friend about it and reached into my pocket to show her the dimes. But all I found was one dime . . . and a hole in my pocket. I had been finding the same dime all day long as it fell through the hole in my pocket and onto the floor! I was so disappointed (and my friend could barely breath for laughing), at least I did have 10 cents to show for it. :-)

Stop dropping your penny on the ground like that! Do you have any idea how lucky you've been to find it again five times in a row like that ;-) But seriously, 6 cents richer, awesome! I'm happy every time I find even a penny on the ground; it's one I didn't have before I picked it up.

I thought about that the first 2 times, but after that, I knew I wasn't dropping them! I always pick them up - it is just one more penny closer to my monthly treat. This month it will be a Big Mac!

5 minutes ago, I read the topic 'penny from heaven'.And I think that the Angel is missing you very much and gives you many hint all the way if I cite the theory in that topic.
