I hope everyone had a nice Valentines day yesterday. I was out all day taking care of more business. I think doing that is more tiring then doing housework.LOL So when I woke up there was a card and a big box of chocolates for me. And of course I ate almost the whole box already.hahahah Now tell me how was your Valentines day?

Did you add whipped cream to the chocolates???..hehe I went out Valentine's day to do some grocery shopping and on the spur of the moment decided to get a nice steak for my VD dinner..I don't normally have steak so it was a real treat..I also sauteed some mushrooms and onions, used Worchestershire sauce and had fries...I also got myself a box of gourmet style cookies to pig out on, I mean eat. I had bought myself some VD cards for myself and two small box of heart shaped chocolates --my two very intelligent kitties signed the cards and gave them to their mom...oh, okay..I'm admit it ..I'm daft.

Hi Terry! My husband surprised me a day early and brought home flowers and chocolates and then whisked me away to a buffet for lunch while our son was at school... Unfortunately I had to work yesterday and so we would have had to wait until the week-end but we had a lovely time on Wednesday and my flowers are so pretty on my Kitchen table! :) So glad that you had a good day yesterday...You deserve it :) ~Heavens~

woww..., you are so fortunate to have such a lovely husband... my valentine's day is just like any other ordinary day... we don't do anything... both me and hubby are working as usual and when we finish work, we are too tired to do anything else... we don't give each other gifts as well as we don't have the budget for that... for us, everyday is a valentine's day... :-)

Now, the question is, did you save Wolfie a chocolate or two???? Yesterday was a normal day for me, I went to get my hair cut as you know and I had it all cut nice and short and spikey, he was a lovely man who even did my eyebrows and ears for me and he really takes his time with my hair! So I am all ready for my adventure Saturday night! I couldn't do my usual country walk as my feet are sore and blistered, so I couldn't walk far, got some shopping for ma then spent the rest of the day on the computer.

My Valentine's Day was rather boring. Found myself entertaining myself all day and evening since my husband was gone. He worked all day and went directly from his office to indoor softball practice. I ate dinner here alone but it was ok. I did, however, take myself out on a date yesterday to a casino. It was fun. Also had my car washed and my haircut. What a combo! So it was pretty typical in our household because I was "home alone." Tonight we are going out to dinner and then I am off to work. I think the romance is gone, what do you think? rofl

I'm not unhappy that he wasn't home. We've been married a long time and I do understand his other commitments. Thanks, we will enjoy dinner tonight.

My valentines day was nice and relaxing sweety - it was also my partners birthday so we tend to focus on that! It was a quiet day - we spent some time together and talked when our youngest was at another birthday party!lol We did exchange cards and very small gifts and did have a chance to reconnect with each other - that is the main thing in my book! xxx

It was fantastic.

I still had my Chinese New Year vacation yesterday, but my husband had to work. Yesterday I brought my son to a park and we had a good time together. My husband came home later than before. When he was home, he had roses in his hands:) He was so sweet and I really appreciated to it. In fact I don't care no roses any more. After all, we are married and we will be practical than before. The roses in the Valentine's Day are always very expensive. I prefer to use this money to have a feast later:)

Like last year my Valentines day was a little more relaxing. Though it was a workday I didn't have to do anything after work hours. Just relax and just have fun.

Mornin' Terry! Awww, that was so sweet, such a good hubby! I had the day off yesterday and actually forgot it was Valentine's Day, haha....no boyfriend or hubby to remind me, awww, haha. I ended up getting my taxes done and mailed, went to the motor vehicles department to get my license tags, went to the Dollar store, ended up at a thrift store looking for some cheap sweaters, haha, and got gas (for the car, lol!). All in all, it wasn't a bad day for me and I did get alot done, so I'm happy. I'm off today too, that's why I'm here writing to you!, lol,...take care sweets!

My husband randomly brought me multi-colored roses a few days before Valentine's Day. Valentine's Day was also our 3rd wedding anniversary and the first one we actually got to celebrate. He was deployed the first one and working for the second one. This year we are on vacation. First we went to one of my favorite places, Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans. We had Cafe Au Lait and beignets and walked around the French Quarter shopping. When we went back to Mississippi we went and bought me, the baby and him new outfits. Right before we left for dinner we exchanged gifts. I got him a bracelet and he gave me a beautiful diamond "journey" necklace. Then we went to dinner at Emeril's. It was excellent! We had a great time and our daughter was so good. Sometimes I would love to have time alone with my husband but I am glad she was there to celebrate with us. After having a great night we decided to stop by Walmart on the way home, we went by the toy section. There was one of the die-cast cars from Cars the movie that I have been wanting sitting there. It was the only one and I haven't seen it anywhere else aside from ebay. I was so excited! It was a really really good day.

Valentine's Day was just like any other day, I did not get any chocolates, no red roses, I worked on my novel, practiced my singing, practiced learning Italian and Spanish (not good at that though), and did myLotting. As well as that it was working on the basement, holding up 2 x4s for my husband so he could nail them. We watched some movies on TCM but there was no Valentine Day movies on. It was the Oscar movies, and there was the usual meal preparations. I do LOvE chocolates, dark chocolates. Too bad I have to watch my weight.

That's so sweet of your husband Terryz!! We don't celebrate Valentines but I did get a surprise from my husband (after being hassled by the ladies at work to get me something), my neighbor and had fun at my sons school valentines party. I got a book and a card from the hubby, my neighbor surprised me with some homemade choco cookies (shes so sweet and thoughtful) then I spent an hour and a half at my sons valentines party, doing activities and eating yummy cupcakes and cookies. He got 30 valentines, in fact all the kids did.

I'd say I had my best Valentine's Day Date ever. It was me and my mom who went out at the mall and spend our Valentine's Day together. We ate at some pizza parlor, us two only. It was not what I expected but it turned out good. Having to spend Valentine's Day with someone important in your life like my mom is more meaningful than spending it with a lover in my opinion.. "You can celebrate Valentine's Day with your lover this year and then spend the next time with another lover. Yet you only have one mother/father .. that's why it means so much to me spending my Valentine's with either one. -Belated Happy Valentine's! -

I spent the day with my loveless friends. My boyfriend had to work (I am sure he is at the office) so I decided to join my friends. We sang a lot of love songs including not so mellow songs like "staying alive" and ate a lot of chicken and steak. It was fun singing and playing with my pal's son. =)
