i was at work last night and we had no patient so we were able to relax and watched tv with my co-workers.. as we were watching a show, they talked about blood types...
they say that every blood types has specific foods to eat...
if you are blood 0,
you must eat food rich in PROTEIN (80%) and only 20% on veggies..
if you are blood type A,
you must eat food rich in Veggies (80%) and only 20% on Protein...
if you are blood type B and AB,
preferred food preparation would be ANYTHING!!! wuhoo.. you can eat anything you want to eat.
so what blood type are you? now you must eat much of these according to your blood type..
me i am blood type b.. so im so fortunate that i am a meat lover.. haha..

My blood is O positive.I am always proud that I am a universal donor. O positive donors are needed more frequently than any other donor. Because O positive is the most common Blood type.It is needed more often by people requiring Blood in hospitals. And your advice to take more protein is definitely more useful.

I am an A blood type and find that I don't eat the veggies that I should! That is not good according to the information that you listed here. I have never heard any of this before but it is interesting. I love veggies but just don't eat them much, but I love to eat everything!! I should eat more veggies for my health as well as for my blood and I know that but don't do what I know I should. I'll have to be more aware of that to help my blood be better.

ive seen this in a night live show and i found it interesting. i posted it here for people who doesnt have any knowledge about this to be informed on how to keep their blood healthy..
well, if you are not that fond eating veggies, it would be better to start eating some that is good for your blood type. you can do that gradually at the moment. it is not a requirement that right this very moment all you have to eat are vegetables right?
at least you are now aware of the food preparation you must have on your meals.

wow.. very special but it is hard to find a blood with rh negative.. well here in the Philippines, we have this actress donates her blood every three months because she is b negative. there was this time she was in need of it, and good thing she was able to reserve herself a blood b negative. that made her donate her blood too for those who might be in need of it and as well as one way of thanking the people who has given her the blood..

my doctor said this is a fad diet and would lead to very poor nutrition so do not go on it it is not at all healthy you needallthe nutrients to be healthy fats proteins carbs and in the proper portions. lean meat, veggies, and fruit and lo fat dairy and whole grains those are what we all need.

I'm blood type O, skbh12. And I'm fortunate like you that I'm a meat lover! I don't really like vegetables though I eat them. You are a nurse, right? Good luck to your nursing career. :)

My blood type is 'o'. I dont know what specific foods I should eat but whole of my life I realised that I like to eat food that rich in protein. I dont like to eat much vegetable and fruits. I like to eat meal than fish. Im not sure if my food interes have relation with my type of blood. After read your discussion and compare with my blood than I think what you say might be true.

I am a O positive and I am a veggie lover. According to what you had described, then my diet doesn't suit my blood type. How sad! But I do read from other source that O type people should have a more flexible diet compared to those A,B or AB. I am not sure though, and I will go and find out. So that I could eat at will. LoL.

My blood type is "O". It's good to hear that protein rich diet is good for me. I am not into pork or beef though, I get my protein from fish and chicken.

I am o postive and I do eat some meat but also veggies and fruit and lo fat dairy and wholegrains I have read about this thing of eating for your blood type and that just made my doctor laugh. No he said you would be ill if you ate eighty percent of diet with proteins. the doctors most of them do not like this diet at all and call it very dangerous also. I agree eighty percent of your diet protein would overtax anyone's kidneys and would make you ill.

well, there is nothing wrong with posting something like this.for example, some of these users does not eat veggies at all. when they have found out through their blood types that they require to eat vegetables, they are being motivated to some of it right? maybe this may not be true but why would a tv show talk about this things if it would not help us at all?
okay it really depends on what you normally eat in a day.. this is just a suggested meal lets say. who knows this may be true somehow right? lets just remove the percentage of what you must eat just as they have told their televiewers.
it is just a matter of showing viewers that every person must be conscious enough to check on their health buy knowing what are the healthy foods to eat.
well, this is your opinion and it depends on the person if he/she will believe the things that they have said.
ill try asking doctors i know at where i work regarding this topic. thanks for the time hatley..
