Ladies, does your man work out at the gym?

Mine does. At first I teased him for it, saying how I love his big muscles and asking him to flex all the time! I have this image of men going to the gym looking at themselves in the mirrors while they lift weights, walking around wearing tight shorts and tank tops haha. He explained to me that he goes to work up a sweat and feel good. I told him that if he ever starts getting big muscles like those body building guys he'll be in trouble! However I do appreciate that he doesn't sit on his butt and he motivates himself to get to the gym every other day. Does your bf/husband work out?

No he doesn't but has talked about doing it for years... lol He has a lot of joint pain from being in the army so it would be hard for him to do any type of strenuous workout or even work at a job. He's on disability and is working on getting unemployability too. Hopefully soon we'll hear something back from the VA on that.

No he doesn't but I wouldn't mind if he did. He was really athletic when he was younger and looked great! These days he is a few pounds heavier and his chest not as defined, I miss the old him but the new him is good too. I need to work out more until I do I can't see him doing it.

Yes, my husband goes to the gym. He has to for his job. He would go anyway though because he likes to go. Before the baby was born I used to go with him. I would sit there and give him water and stuff...and eat M&M's. He would laugh at me and loves to tell all of his friends about me going to the gym eating M&M's. He wants me to start going with him again because he feels guilty leaving me at home while he goes. It's not really a big deal to me though. I would just have to chase our almost 2 year old daughter around anyway!

my husband doesn't.. but i'm desperately trying to motivate him to go. he always uses the "i too working and when i'm not i'm too busy thinking of work" excuse. it's irritating... he's gotten so flabby these past few years. i miss his muscles :)

My hubby doesn't work out. One of the reasons he doesn't do it is because it would take away some of our time together. And we like to spend every moment we can together :) He will on occasion go and play basketball at the gym with some guys at work. He loves playing. A couple of years ago when we lived in town he was going every Friday morning after work.

Hun doesn't go to the gym... he lifts heavy parts for his engines all day, so he has muscle. But he does ride his bike for exercise... he needs to do it about every other day to keep his blood sugar down. Sometimes its only uptown and back, but he really likes to ride the Centennial Trail whenever he can... its only a few miles from us and its beautiful, uncrowded, and safe!

Yes my hubby likes to take care of himself, he is going to be 30 this year and so all of a sudden its a little bit more important to him as well!! He goes to the gym once a week, its a bit hard for him to go more often because of his work times and then the kids, but he has a set of weights and he does a bit of them every day. He has muscle and is nicely toned but not hugely so, I am not one for men with big bulging muscles, I dont find it attractive, but my hubby is in very good shape!

Nope! I'm the one who goes to the gym. He has no time to go and his interest is more on playing online games. Apart from that, gym is quite expensive. I pay mine for US$60 per month. I invited him once as a guest to the gym. The next day, he told me that his body aches...hehehehe.

That's a seriously funny idea, my partner at the gym!! I just can't see him even in shorts. He does lots of physical work though, so he gets plenty of exercise and stays fit enough for me that way. I don't like bulging sculpted muscles and all that posturing business. When I used to go to the gym myself there was this chap who had the tightest shorts i have ever seen. It's a wonder he could move, let alone exercise in them. He spent more time smarming about than working up a sweat, but he faked that with baby oil. Yuk, just the thought is making me feel all nauseous!

Nope my husband does not work out...The only work out he gets is when he has the remote control to the TV..haha..He would be a lot more healthier if he did, but he usually just sits in his recliner unless i find him something to do.....I sometimes get him to do a few chores around here but thats about it...You should be very happy that your husband does choose to work out, he will probably stay a lot healthier and live a lot longer...My husband is just getting no exercise sitting in that chair, and i worry about his health a lot....

Yes, my guy goes to the gym allmost everyday. I like what the gym does to his body and like the fact that he takes care of his body. I definatly feel very proud of his looks when we are out in public together. I just wish that I had the time to go to the gym, I could use a work out.

My husband used to go to the gym to work out. Before we met he was into body building (naturally, not with steroids) and competed a few times. Unfortunately he ripped his Achilles tendon while at the gym some time after we met and he lost his motivation to keep it up. He still went to the gym (a different one than where he got hurt), but he started to go less and less as the months went by. It didn't help that we moved during this time and we lived far away from the gym. Luckily his job is very physical and keeps him fit. He just recently started to get back into working out, but now it is on our home gym (smith machine). He loves flexing his muscles for me and I love feeling them! :D

yeah .. he would love to do that and keeps on making plans and starts going ... but due to his hectic schedule is never able to be regular... same with me .... i guess he is quite fit and has to be happy with normal jog.
