I posted a discussion about this site about a month or so ago and not one person responded to it but I do want to share about it again cause last week I go my $50 Visa gift debit card. It is a community where whatever you do around the site earns you points for prizes. A canadian can only get the visa cards. But anyways. If you maxed out your points everyday it would only take you about 17 days to get the card. Which is what I did. COOL!

I have never heard of this Boomertowne site. What is it? I would like to try it if I could too get a debit card. Is it only available to Canadians or do they welcome Americans too?

I didn't think it was just for seniors. I'm not there yet. But I am a baby boomer, LOL. I did notice a lot of younger people there. Intersting, sure will have a lot in common with them. LOL

I love boomertowne!!! A few days ago my husband oined Boomertowne, and then he sent me an invitation. I have already earned about 17,779 points, and I'm well on my way to that Visa gift card.
When I get my Visa card I'm going to take it with me to Montreal. I'm going on vacation up there in a couple of months.
I'm also Canadian. I don't mind being limited to only getting the Visa gift cards, because that's all that I really want.

I belong there and didn't know this, interesting. I'm off to check it out. I signed up for it but haven't really explored it. Thanks for doing your homework AND sharing.
Can you do this every 17 days? Wouldn't that be awesome.

What do you actually do out there each day to get your max points in a minimum amount of time?
I just switched it to my home page so I can read the news there. Any other tips you care to share?

Okay you can check out the section in points that lists how much things are worth to know everything but the quick ways would be to add people from the public profiles. accept people who ask to be friends. rate jokes, quips, recipes, etc. go on chat and make a couple posts for 100 points. trivia question. respond to weekly top discussion for 50 I think. Add photo to your album 50 each day I think. The first 17 days I did the max out to see and I did use the card yesterday at sobeys. So it works for sure. But now I usually do about 1000 a day just for fun really. Oh and there is games, you don't have to play them just load and you will score 10 points. You can get up to 200 a day writing to your friends message boards but I stopped that too. Kinda boring. But still at 1000 a day I can get to the 25000 cashout in 25 days. No bad. Also if you get 5 friends to join a month they will give you 10000 but I don't bother with referring people. Hope that helps LOL

I love this site and haven't gotten all that many points but I have gotten some and it is amazing how fast they add up. It is fun to see all the things that they have on there and it is fun to earn them. Good luck with earning more and it was a Canadian who referred me to it!!

do you know if they Visa gift cards are JUST for Canada?
or could someone in the the US states get them too?
I have earned enough for one now after about week and half and thats what i want rather then the best buy or target gift card.
but i'm confused by the "Prize availability is limited to VISA gift cards for Canadian Citizens" part under the catalog
