Does taking tests come easy for you?

Since I was a kid no matter how prepared I was when it came time to take any kind of test I would freeze up. I always loved school and paid attention in classes, took notes and really crammed when a test was coming up yet the day of the test it was like I forgot everything. It didn't change as I got older either. Being a chacha guide I've had to take quite a few tests and always put them off until the last minute and as nervous as I am to take them I haven't failed one yet. I'm now looking at what will probably be chacha's last test and I've spent all week reading up on it and practicing but I'm a nervous wreck to do it. Luckily it can be taken whenever I want to but they have put a cut off date of next Monday so I guess I should get to it. Does taking tests make you nervous or are you the type who can just breeze through them without a thought!

I have never had a problem when it comes to taking tests. They never worry me at all. My son however freaks out at test time. He has gotten better this year, but last year he would burst into tears at test time because he was convinced that he would fail.

I think failing is my problem too and I definitely don't give myself enough credit since I usually pass tests with flying colors.

Yes taking test does come easy if you study hard for it, and yes I do get nervous, especially if it is a hard test. I tink a person should eat a good meal and get plenty of rest before taking the test. I am going to go bak to School, so I will be taking a lt of test.

Most times they come easy. With typical tests, I did my homework, did my studying, and everything went smoothly on tests and examinations. Other times I had to come up with another study strategy or work even harder than before, but sure enough it worked and I was able to get through. Depends on the test too. Sometimes the teacher or the cirriculum devised a poor test that no one could understand. Other times the tests were easy enough.

I always seemed to do well on tests. I found that if I studied I would either do the same or a little worse on the tests. So I just did my homework, payed attention in class and asked for help when I needed it. That was all the preparing I needed to do for a test. I think people would "freeze up" because they we scared/nervous about taking the test. Gotta learn to relax and just let the answers come. If you have heard them before in class they are in that head somewhere just have to find it before you run out of time.

it comes a bit easy for me... actually i have always been okay with taking tests and exams at school. maybe because i do study before the exams... have a good sleep and would wake up earlier to review what i have studied again. i have a good retention of what i studied because i put keywords in it and tries to put them in my mind with a picture, and a description. i guess it helps a lot where i would imagine where i have seen or read a certain word when it comes out of the exam. he he

I do a lot of last minute cramming, but it's worked out very well so far so....guess I'll continue.

The older I got the easier it was. I began to get a strategy and that is to put keywords together. My daughter is homeschooling and the easiest way for her to remember upperscase and lowercase is uppercase is big just like all the way UP to the sky is big and lowercase is little just like if someone is lower than you they are little. LOL

I love going to school too, I was a good student then, I make sure my notes are complete and never missed anything what the teacher says. When it comes to test, I never had problems with it. Sometimes I would crammed up too, because I would spend more time reviewing my notes on a certain subjects, especially hard ones, then I would end up cramming on the least hard ones. But I always get through without failing. I think I'm just an average student though.

I don't remember any hard taking while taking my exam. I have guide on how i can memorize all i need and do some easy computation. My mother has no problem with me regarding school days. Some tips are: sit in front, always listen to your teacher while discussing the subject. If you'll going to memorize, make sure that you are comfortable and make your mind calm to absorb all the things you need. some prefer to memorize with the music or study at early in the morning like at 3am.

To be honest, I don't like going to school when I was a kid. I only somewhat appreciate it when I was in highchool. I always the dread the time when we will have exams especially if its a surprise one. I am not that studious. I don't like copying notes either. I prefer to listen more than jot down. I remember that it was a requirement in grade school to have our notebooks checked, so what I will do is to borrow a notebook and copy the entire lessons, so that I have something to show to my teachers. I study my lessons though, but not that much. I crammed during exams also. I guess , I am nervous because I did not prepare for the exams and I am afraid to fail. But during highschool, I sort of taken my studies seriously. I participated more in the class, study in advance.

No not when I was in school. I hated exams and panicked everytime. I did better when we were assessed in 6th form and didn't have to set any exams. When I took papers as an adult it was different and I think it had a lot to do with the subject I was studying. Because they interested me so much, I made sure I did the homework so when it came to setting the exam, I was comfortable and confident that I would at least pass and get a good grade. I have enjoyed going back to school as an adult more than I did as a child/teenager.

I have a really hard time with tests when I was in school I could do the daily assignments just fined and got decent grades on them but when it came time to test I just got nervous and ended up doing horrible on them. I hated taking my drivers test when the person rides with you and judges everything you do I about had a nervous breakdown!

I am the same way as you. Unless I know the information like the back of my hand I am not going to do so well on test. It's gotten a little better for me as I got older, but not by much. I remember in school that I would get A's & B's on all the worksheets, homework and projects. Then I would end up getting C, D's, & F's on the test & quizzes. The only helpful information I can tell you that helped me is to stay calm, try not to worry and study study study. Most of the time If I had to know the information really really good if I was going to pass the test. Hopefully this helps you.

I love taking examinations. It feels good especially when I have studied my lessons or pointers for the exam. Its just like a blink of an eye, and VOILA!! im done! But most of the time I cram before the examinations. And I would blame myself because I know that I can do much better if only I have studied my lessons well. But I hate oral examinations! I would have butterfly in my stomach, and cold feet and hands when we have that in class. Give me tons of written exams or tests and I wont care a bit, but not oral exams.. i would die...
