Prayers for a Child

I know from the thousands of discussions I've read on myLot that there are a lot of members who pray. I'm asking for as many as possible to join my in prayers for one small boy.
I don't have an earth shattering story to tell or huge sob story to share but I know a small child, a 5 year old boy, who needs serious prayers for protection, peace, and happiness.
"I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:18-20 (NIV)
For those of you who know me you know I don't quote scripture often but when I do you know I mean serious business - please join together with me in praying for this dear sweet intellegent helpless child.

I would be more than happy to add my prayers for this child. But could you provide his name and maybe some information is so we could add specifics to our prayer? It is hard to just say a little boy as there are an awful lot of little boys who need God's grace.

You are so right there are so many little boys who need our prayers but I would so very much appreciate your prayers for Andrew. If you could pray for protection God knows the details and I'm sure will answer our prayers.

I know dear and I appreciate your kind thoughts - I haven't slept all night and can't stop crying because of something that happened yesterday. My heart is broken and I'm to the point I just don't know what else I can do.

You are so very right dear - all children deserve these things but this one has no one but us praying for him and is living in a very bad situation. Thank you so much for joining us in prayers for him and for your blessings we may not see an answer today or even tomorrow but I do know God will answer our prayers.

Thank you dear I really do appreciate all the prayers we can get and I'm the same way, no child should be hurt but there is more and more of it. This one is particularly close to me though - my youngest grandson.

Well you know me faith, if prayer is needed, I am there..And I can only imagine, since I have a 5 y/o boy too, that makes it easier to pray....

This is my grandson and he's going through some very difficult times at home - times that should be fun and joyful are not for this little one.

That's ok Faith, I knew you would be thankful and since I know that Andrew is your grandson, I can somewhat know what is going on and I will make sure that my son and I pray for him before we start Sunday School..

I will join in prayer with you. I just got on the computer and had this discussion in my email. God always answers prayer and as you quoted the scripture passage you will have many prayers joined together with you here at mylot.

Thank you dear and that's exactly why I posted this discussion - I know with so many praying for Andrew there will be help for him. God answers all our prayers I've seen this so many times in my life and I'm so thankful we have a Father who loves us the we ours does.

It matters not what the reason is, but rather the need for prayer. Yes I will include this little one in my prayers and Thank You for being the person you are. I believe you have prayed for me also. Thank You. Come together myLot and lets remember this little boy in desperate need of our prayers. Thank You.

Dear Heavenly Father we are coming before you for this 5 year old boy. You know his needs before we even put them before you, so we come before you in agreement and ask that you cover him with protection, peace and happines. I pray that this young - precious little being of light be surrounded and protected in God's great white light of protection - so that NOTHING bad comes to him.
I will also add him to our healing chain list here in South Africa.
One needs to see (image)this precious little guy already receiving that protection, peace and happiness - POSITIVE THOUGHTS = POSITIVE ACTIONS...and give appreciation back to the lord - as to accept that this child is ALREADY receiving. thats positive thinking!

Dear Lord,
Look on your son Andrew. Keep him in perfect peace, protect him physically, mentally, and spiritually, and surround him in your love. Allow your presence to fill his life and give him understanding to understand your love for and toward him. Bless his family too because they need your love as well. Give them strength and power to seek, trust, and rely on you totally for your purpose and design for their lives. We love you, honor you, and declare it done.

Amen, amen, and amen - thank you dear so very much for this prayer. Although this discussion is old Andrew, his sister, and their mother all need prayer badly and your prayer comes at the perfect time. Grandma, me, is becoming exhausted and disheartened from the events that are taking place. God knows all our needs and I know He sent you not just to pray for my grandson but to help keep me on track also.

I'll add you and your family to my prayer list. This is why we were created to worship God through our lives, to lead others to him, and to lift each other up with our prayers and words of encouragement. I know that God is going to remove the burden and destroy the yoke. Continue to trust him and he will strengthen you with his peace.

Hi Byfaith. I will surely pray for that small boy. Count me in. But can I know the name of the boy so that my prayer will be more personal in dedication? Thanks. I pray that small boy will be given protection, peace and happiness and that God will send his holy angel to protect him. I know God will. God bless!

Hi Faith.
Lifting the little guy up to our Lord and Savior. Asking that he will protect, guide, heal, give comfort to the little one, Whatever need is will be met.
