Do you start many discussions one over another each day?

Today in a certain interest i was looking at the current discussion. And what came to notice that the same person has started about 6-7 discussion within span of say 10 minutes. Most of them are very brief and even one liners.
Do you start many discussions all at a time in anticipation of getting many responses.
I start when i need to ask some or share something.
What your Mylot procedure?

Most of those that make the one liners are new members or those who just want to earn as fast as possible. I dont answer much to topics like those especially if it doesnt interest me at all and I dont see them substantial. At times, when Im lazy, I do just answer at my whim. But for me, it takes time to come up with really good topic to attract responders. I usually have all day to think of it and gather them all up and usually post at the end of the day. Its not for me to earn much here in myLot as there are times I am lazy in thinking up topics but whatever interest me to ask and share as well. In that way, it keeps me going here and hope to encourage others by making quality posts.

well yes rather i have come across a person who has started off at least 25 messages in a 15 minutes flat!Man he must be having some good reservoir of thought there!!!Though I've been struggling to think of all the topics that I need to discuss on with MYlot community here. But I feel if it works for them it's good because it keeps Mylot community going on and some action to it!!

my procedure in mylot as same as like you, dear friend. i would not start discussion if there is nothing interested to share with others in here. i prefer to response some discussion on that time. by making many discussion, it would make me busy to give my response back to any response in my discussion while i would like to response more in another discussion

Newbies tend to do this, until they realize that it is not working. I never respond to someone who is flooding the pages with one line discussions.
I sometimes will go a couple of weeks before I even start a conversation. I have to be moved to do so. For the most part I respond to other peoples until I get an idea of my own.

I hardly ever start a new discussion. I am more interested in responding to my friends discussions. I have started quite a few in one day when I did not have anything else to respond to. I mainly start mine also when I have something to say and I am not too far behind in my email inbox. Right now I am all backed up.

I have never started more than two discussions in a day. If one of my discussions gets very popular, I want to keep up with reading responses and adding comments.
If one of my friends was to start 10 or more discussions within one hour, I would probably turn notification off, but I don't mind if 10 different friends all start one or two new discussions within one hour.
I agree it is mostly new members who don't understand how myLot works who mistakenly think they can earn more from starting a lot of discussions.

I only start new discussions when I have something to say. I have noticed that a lot of the discussions mirror each other are one liners from the same source. I like meaningful discussions something that I want to share or get someone elses thoughts on.

Hello dear subha. I do not start discussions very often as I cannot find interesting topic to begin with. So most of the time I am responding to discussions from both friends on my list and other mylotters as well. It is much easier for me to respond to discussions than to post a new one.

I really hate it when someone does that. I have seen a whole page before where all the discussions were from the same person and not very interesting at that. Just like you said to very brief and just one liners. I like being able to respond to differenet posters and will usually move on to another section if I see that has happened.

If you noticed subha, Im the kind of mylotter who answers more to existing thread than making a new one. If I do post something, it's sometimes a question just pop out from nowhere or while I am responding to a discussion a certain word makes me think of a good discussion to start with. As much as possible I also make not so lengthy yet not too short discussions. I make sure to provide examples or something that could support my discussions since as we know at the left side of the page we write to there's a note from mylot admin to be as descriptive as possible.

Yes, sometimes I do that, coz when Im not doing anything I just think or when I see something, instead of asking myself I just directly post it here, as if Im talking to all of you guys.=)

have raised a very valid point. I also felt that some of the members keep starting so many discussions simultaneously, that it becomes difficult to concentrate on their each discussion, even if they are one liner. I prefer not to start more than one discussion in a day, sometimes the number can go up to two, that too when I find that the topic of the discussion is such that it should be discussed with other members here on mylot. If I start too many discussions simultaneously then definitely I am not going to get quality responses to each of my discussion.
Very Good Post!

Compared with starting my own discussions, I prefer reply others'.
One reason is that no matter how hard I working, my discussion seems not welcomed here, some can not get any posts in it.
The other reason is I can not have many time to take care of my discussions, so left them without any care is not a polite way to those take care of me.

I only start a discussion when I have something interesting to write a topic about. But at the same time I am hoping to get a lot of responses so that I make more money for it. I am a member of mylot, first to make some extra money and secondly to make some friends and have a good chat with them. I have started a lot of discussions, one after another, but I have subjects in mind before I start. I write down topics that I want to start discussions about and then I post them one after another, when I do start some. Most of the time I just respond to others though, and start very few. I have some friends on my list that only seem to start discussions about news items and I very seldom have anything more to add to it, but sometimes I have something to say, so I keep her on my list.
If they are one or two liners, I don't respond to them because they probably don't make me much money and sometimes they are deleted and then I just get docked the money anyways so it was a waste of my time.

I am new so I can't say that I start any of the discussions, but I believe I have started one or two, I forget.. I have noticed some that, like you say, have been started and were very brief.. I like the longer running discussions, you can get a variety of opinions on some of the topics listed her and they are very interesting.. I am still learning but when I do know what I am doing, I will be starting a few of them myself..
