Abortion for gender selection.

Gender selection by abortion is totally WRONG!!! I am definately Pro-Choice, but there has to be a limit somewhere!

It really isn't anyone's business what decisions a woman makes concerning her body. What may be ok for one isn't ok for another. I personally would not do it, but it is not place to say yes or no to anyone else.

I think it is very wrong. If you want to have a baby you should take whatever God gives you whether its a boy or girl. It's a blessing to have a baby.

I think that's very wrong. Why shouldn't girls live just like boys? I think that's imoral. How would those people feel if we started to kill boys instead of girls? Would they like that? I'd like to know.

There are many female's lacking pregnancy because of various reasons. Getting motherhood is great. At the same time it is very bad to think of abortion on the gender selection. Instead of abortion presenting/donating the child to unpopulated countries like Germany, Denmark etc., should be right decision.

I think it's wrong, however, I think the type of people who would abort a girl, are not the type of people who would be good parents to a girl. I'm sure these girls wind up at greater risk for abuse or even infanticide. We can't just forbid gender selection in isolation. Women's rights need to improve, so that it no longer becomes undesirable to have a girl.

That is so wrong! If you want a baby you should take what you get and be happy that its healthy. I can't believe people would actually do this. Futhermore, I can't believe a person would be ALLOWED to abort a baby because its not the gender they would prefer. I have to wonder what kind of parent they would be at all.

This is so wrong I can't even explain in detail. You cannot play God in any situation. It almost sounds like someone is trying to create a perfect society, with a balance of girls/boys. Definately should not be allowed, and should be punishable by law if proved to be taking place.

gender selection IS wrong, but ....... you know, it's a very strong BUT .....it should be allowed because of the obvious reasons. how can you expect the parents to provide loving care to the unwanted baby? if the baby is not going to get a loving home, it's better off unborn. we know how much some children suffer at home - suffer humility, discrimination and violence even at the hands of parents. i think that is more heinous, utterly cruel. so, it is better to give the choice to parents - let them choose and be happy to have their babies. let them give all the love they are capable of, to the boy baby or girl baby, whichever they choose to have. we can't afford to mar the lives of innocent children in the name of being right,and present them with a life of rejection or hatred, so i think it is better to let the people choose their babies.

Abortion should not be allowed for gender selection, i cant believe someone would make such an important life changing position just so they could give birth to either a boy or a girl, surely the childs health and well being os more important.

This is as wrong ... be happy with the child you are blessed with... some people never have the choice to experience birth.. dont mess with nature and the gift you are given.

Wrong, I only really want a girl but if I find out I am having a boy I wouldn't do that.

is that possible? u don't know the gender til u're like 16 wks and by then abortion is illegal, if people want a certain gender then there is a thing u can go to a dr. who will put in the x or y chromosomes only into the mother. it's like 2500 dollars for the procedure. i would not allow abortion for gender selection, that's sick!

wrong. you can't abort because you don't like the gender of the baby, it's still your baby you must love that baby weither it is a boy or a girl. if u can't why not adopt a baby that u like the gender.

This is wrong on so many levels. How can a person kill an inocent life just because it isn't their desired prefrence in gender. I think they should rethink the whole thing.
