Are you a tea drinker?Do you drink tea everyday? How many cup of tea do you drink every day?
According to some research, drinking at least two cups a black tea or green tea a day could reduce the chance of dying after a heart attack by 44 percent. It's said there is something in tea that protects the heart.
Drinking tea everyday is also a good way of keeping fit, especially green tea.If you are on a diet,I suggest you drink tea everyday, stay with traditional healthy food, such as vegetables and fruits, and do some regular exercise everyday.I don't suggest food deprivation,it only makes you much hungrier and eat even more.
Do you agree what I said above? If you disagree, then let's share your tips of keeping healthy.

I'm not much of a tea drinker but I do have it sometimes.
My son drinks tea all day everyday. I have never seen him drink coffee. I don't think he has at any time liked the taste of coffee. I have to cut down on coffee so tea will be my next choice. I just have to find one that has less or no caffeine. I have read several articles that says tea is good for the heart as well as for people with diabetes.

I do agree with you! When i introduce tea to my mom and dad, they love it a lot since they have a very good feeling about it plus they dispose regularly( you know!)Unlike before taking tea, they have a hard time doing it everyday. So, it means it works best in our digestion! Since I am a coffee lover, I tried in a week to drink tea like 3times but every morning, its my coffee time!

I do not drink tea, I am very much a coffee drinker! I am not on a diet, but I do eat healthily to maintain my weight as I am prone to weight gain very quickly. I eat vegetables and never eat fried food or food with too much fat in. I also do regular exercise although I could do with doing some more as I am not doing too much at the minute, it is hard fitting it all in at the moment with my hectic life.

Tea contains anti-oxidants. Green tea contains about twice that of regular black tea.It helps nutralise all the poisons and bad material in our body.
while i'm a little addicted to green tea.i drink cup after cup after cup every day. as we know,it also contains caffeene so we should still drink water a day.

I couldn't agree with you more. I've been a tea drinker since I was a kid. My mom used to make it every morning before I went to school. Now I have 2 kids of my own (girls 9 & 17 mos) and they too are tea drinkers!! It is very good for you, especially the green tea. There are alot of health benefits with that. My oldest drinks alot of this. I drink that and Lipton at least twice a day for the pep to keep me going but it also fills me up so I'm not getting that hunger attack.

I love tea in different varieties and flavors. It is good to know that the tea is good for us and heart healthy. I will spread this information to my mother and she will be a happy camper since she drinks alot of tea mostly green tea nowdays. My grandfather always drunk tea with a splash of apple cider vinegar and honey. He says it helped him stay young.

I drink tea now and then, but I don't drink it every day, I'm more of a coffee drinker. I've been hearing about the benefits of green tea for years, and how healthy the Japanese are, because they drink so much. I've also heard that regular black tea has it's benefits too.

I drink green tea, about three cups a day or more, and I eat salads and vegetables and usually two kind of fruit. I have not gained weight and I have lost some, but I have no idea why. I do a lot of walking. That is all I do. I used to be 225 lb, but for some reason, I went down to 213 lb. I am large boned anyway so I do not expect to go that low. But for some reason, all through winter, I was quite high and then suddenly I losr about ten lbs. and have been on that plateau ever since. I do notice that my heart beats quite a bit faster, so it must be the tea is messing with my metabolism in a good way.

Really? I am a tea drinker, I drink more than two cups of tea everyday but sometimes I feel that the tea would drain my energy somehow.
Some people would also recommend drinking maximum two cups of tea especially when it was dark / black tea, because of something concerned with blood hemoglobin. I heard that drinking too much tea would also erase some minerals within our body. Well, probably too much is not good either. * shrug *

There are lots of reasons why I enjoy a hot cup of tea: I love the aroma of various flavors of tea; there are some good reasons to drink tea
1. Tea contains antioxidants. Like the Rust-Oleum paint that keeps your outdoor furniture from rusting, tea's antioxidants protect your body from the ravages of aging and the effects of pollution.
2. Tea has less caffeine than coffee. Coffee usually has two to three times the caffeine of tea (unless you're a fan of Morning Thunder, which combines caffeine with mate, an herb that acts like caffeine in our body). An eight-ounce cup of coffee contains around 135 mg caffeine; tea contains only 30 to 40 mg per cup. If drinking coffee gives you the jitters, causes indigestion or headaches or interferes with sleep -- switch to tea.
3. Tea may reduce your risk of heart attack and stroke. Unwanted blood clots formed from cholesterol and blood platelets cause heart attack and stroke. Drinking tea may help keep your arteries smooth and clog-free, the same way a drain keeps your bathroom pipes clear. A 5.6-year study from the Netherlands found a 70 percent lower risk of fatal heart attack in people who drank at least two to three cups of black tea daily compared to non-tea drinkers.

Hi. I don't drink black or green tea because my opinion tea doesn't taste. I choose water or fruits juices. But if I ever suffer from a heart and doctor say that I have to drink tea I do this. For me tea will be another medicine

Guess I could say I am the healthiest person in town! I drink at least a gallon of iced tea a day...every day...all year long! It has seems to have all the antioxidents in it that are good and all these things you mention, plus the water for the day - I just had blood tests done and I aws middle to low end of all the requriments, by Cholestrol was 158! So, guess it hasn't hurt me!

I drink tea every morning. It's SO much better than coffee! I've also read of the health benefits of it, so it's a good considering I drink it everyday!
TIPS FOR BEING HEALTHY
1.) reduce meat consuption or totally go vegetarian
2.) drink LOTS of water
3.) take a walk or do another exercise for at least 30 minutes everyday.
4.) take a quality multivitamin! Wile some people think vitamins aren't necessary if you're eating a healthy diet, I disagree. The vitamins in our food have been declining steadily over the past few decades due to bad farming practices and genetic modification.

I am not a tea drinker, but I know tea is good for health. And in China we have a very deep tea culture.
Tea can help to release us from fat and redundant material in our body.It is also good for metabolism.
But from my member my mother doesn't allow me to drink tea more for she said it is cold for a woman. So suggest that women should drink some soft tea such as green tea and some women tea.
