I have prefer the currency that I have right now..American dollars. Or I may say, depend on where I live. Although dollars have different value in other countries, still, dollars is the universal currency. You can trade and do business if you have dollars, anywhere in the world. It is accessible too.

Well, the beauty of working on the internet is you have systems like PayPal or Money Brokers or Alert Pay - which opperate in a multitude of currencies. In my PayPal account, I work in USD, GBP and Euros, even though I live in Singapore. All these currencies are stronger than the Singapore dollar (even if the USD is at an all time low against the SGD), which means that I'd have more of my own currency if I needed it. But for now, I accept that most online transactions are done in USD and I can have allot more money if I collect GBP and Euros too.

Well being here in the good ole USA I prefer the dollar. Since I have no plans to travel to any other country in the future it does not matter that the dollar is so weak that it costs us more to do anything outside of this country.

Hello dear julyteen. As to online currency, I have to say that I love dollars because we are paid in dollars from mylot, but in my daily life, I prefer my native currency RMB because it is our currency in China. But I do not like to see dollars fall all the way in the hope that it will go back to its previous status as before so that it makes more sense for us to make some extra dollars while making friends and posting discussions on different topics.

Definitely the British pound. Not only is it my own currency, but it is so highly rated globally that you get tons of other currencies to each pound.
For example, if I send £100 to my relatives in jamaica, they get J$14,000 for it, which makes them sound rich! Even the dollar is currently two to the pound so lots more American goodies available for us! However, when I am paid in dollars I am sad because I know then that I get only half the pounds. But that's life, with swings and roundabouts!
Yes, definitely, the British pound for me just now. It is a great stable currency.

I only use pounds so must say I prefer that, though when I have been on holiday, Ive used Euros. It felt like I was using 'pretend' money but that is because its different to what Ive grown up with.
I have used German Deutschmarks when I was in my teens but they now use the Euros.
I have never used dollars or pesos! I think I need more holidays!! lol
