What have I done that's so wrong?

hello, sorry to hear you are having some problems out here as well, seems like mylot is doing a lot of cleaning so most of us are being affected. i have two discussions deleted and my earnings was down as well and i have read that there are so many out here who is wondering what they did wrong to get such thing. i dont know how mylot works and i feel you know it better than i do, but i guess we are all wonderers out here coz we still dont know how to answer such question. anyway, good luck on your journey here and hope your rating will go up again. wish you all the best. takecare!

Join the club hun, I too had a ten star just a day ago, in the course of a few hours it went from 10 to a 7, 100 reputation down to just 70 and no doubt set to drop some more. It seems there are a few of us that has experienced this in the past few days! I would not get too disheartened by it if you can help it, it is not because you have done anything wrong.

I believe that it happens to the best of us. My star started out as a 10 and is now a 7 also. I try to always give good responses and I hope I never say anything to offend anyone so I don't know why mine is like that either. I rate people positive most of the time and so I don't worry about it too much and neither should you. I feel that their are some people here who just set out to cause others to drop in ratings on that star so I say just have fun here and keep posting and eventually you may get it back up. Maybe we need to start rating each others' responses and see if that helps.

It seems like alot of people have seen there stars going down lately mine was a 10 and now it is a 9. I don't know why mine should have gone down either I qive quality resposnes and never type just one liners and I only reply to discussions I agree with too. I hope you get your star back up.

Jenni 702 the same exact thing has happened to me also. Iwas a a ten went to nine went back toten went to 9 then yesterday in a twinkling of an eyelash I went down to 8 then to 7 and I have not a clue as to why. someone i think is out to get a lot of us that were tens for some reason. I thought just like you but others also have had this happen and we cannot all be badies surely

Sounds as if some jealous people are taking the tens and trying to bring them down instead of working to make their own participation have the potential for a ten rating. I wouldn't worry about it! While I haven't seen your discussions yet, they must have been good to get you up to a ten, so I'm guessing that somebody isn't playing fair around here, and I don't like that. I'm going to begin giving you a port-raid, which should help! Good luck!

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems. I have had something similar happen to me before, too. I had a pretty good rating initially, and then just all at once it dropped by a ton! I couldn't really figure out either what I had done to make it go down. I was just responding to discussions and didn't think I had broken any rules or been rude or anything. I also always try to make sure that my responses are a good length and good quality. I have finally gotten my rating up to an 8 now, but I'm hoping it will continue to go up over time. I think I have to agree with what some other people have said, that it seems kind of like a popularity contest and some people just decide to give out negative ratings to be mean or something. It seems really strange also that it can drop so much really suddenly, and then it seems like it takes forever for it to go back up. Try not to let it get you down too much though. I was upset about mine at first, but then I just decided to not worry about it and just continue making posts. I hope yours will go up again soon!! :)

You are not the only one affected by this. My star, which had been a 10 for quite some time, has fallen to a low 7. I think there is a troll or group of trolls not only rating one person negatively, but going through the friends list doing the same thing. You are doing wonderfully, don't change, and don't let these people stop you from enjoying this site.

The energy of frustrated members who are in the same boat as us is giving the energy to those little gremlins. We should go on posting and totally ignore those little gremlins. At the end of the day, the gremlins will be defeated and we are going to move on. The star will be shining once more.

Those who have a 10 rating and have had it forever, are the people who are always thinking of that 10 star rating, and wanting to preserve it at all costs. That cost may be their Honesty and Integrity. They read all the replies to each post carefully, and go along with the views of the Poster, so as not to stir up emotions that might result in a negative rating. Some of us want to preserve the High Standards of myLot. WE enjoy this site and activity, and want to be good myLotters. We would not trade a 10 star rating for our Honesty and Intregrity. We wear our low star rating Proudly as a Badge of Honor!

Jenni you've done nothing wrong. Several people are having star rating trouble. Just look at the related discussions in the panel at the bottom of the screen, or just search "star" or "rating". No matter how its done, you'll see other discussions with the same problem. Seems someone (or several people) are on a rampage... or one of my friends was right and there is MUCH more to the rating system than was outed... Nothing rulebreaking and nothing even remotely "negative" on your end. I can't figure out what you've done that's so wrong Jen. Can you figure out what I've done that's so wrong? I mean I've had to go through three major star plummets... -_-

sad to know that my friend. I experience also similar to what you had and it's really annoying but later i recover my star rating because some points i gain from the discussions and comments i posted. continue posting never mind you star rating. make a good post!

well, I have never notice it .... but after today I ' ll do it ....

I don't know but there seems to be something very wrong with mylot. Many users are frustrated with it. Yesterday my earnings were 4.98 dollars and today they are 4.77 dollars. I am really mad at mylot for doing this. ~pinks~

i think its not only you. i am suffering something same like this. i also thought the same way initially. i guessed that some has abundantly rated me negative. but no, how can it be. i am down at most interest ranking and also reputation is reduced. then i acme to know many have faced it. i thought may be some mylot adjustment

Ratings go up and down like a yoyo on here and I feel that too much importance is placed on them. Just lately there have been a lot of cases where people have had discussions deleted, ratings have dropped and people are getting wound up. For what it's worth I think I have only even negative rated a handful since I joined here over a year ago.

Don't disanimation. There are must be some mistake in your mylot. Check it and find the falsity. I believe that redound must comes with the paid.

I don't know why, too. Everyday I post respond and I have got about the little $0.06 per day. But yesterday I couldn't earn no money
