Hello, My first language is English and I learnt very basc French whilst at school many years ago now but my mother lives in Spain and I would really love to learn Spanish so that when I go over to visit I could participate in more conversations even though I usually manage to grasp what is being said. Another language I have always liked is Italian as it seems to be so expressive. Ellie :D

Your first language is English, so great! Then i can learn English from u. Do you mind helping me improve it. Before, i thought my English was good, but now i don't. Today i speak in English and find that i can't do it frequently. What a shame~~

ya, you have a point there. English is such an in'l language that almost everyone should try to learn to speak several sentences.

Currently learning Japanese, and also have a modest background in French. Korean and Chinese are other languages I have an interest in.

I really think that learning a language can do a person so much good; not only in the academic sense, for example increasing your chances of getting a job or even getting a totally new job in travel, say, but I think it gives you more confidence too.
I would love to learn latin so I can read certain passages without their translations, which can be so indivual to the translater and therefore sometimes not very true to the passage. I'd also love to learn Spanish, French, German, and a few African languages that are spoken in Ghana such as Twi (pronounced ch-wee), Ga, and Fante. But they're all very difficult!

Aside from English which I'm continually learning until now, I also study Japanese part-time. I'm enrolled in an online course. I also plan to study Spanish and Italian in the near future. Hopefully, I will be able to finish my Japanese courses as soon as possible. Learning new languages is really fun, and not to mention, very useful too.
