Here in the Philippines the most common fruit that you will find in every meal is "Banana". Filipinos love banana. Philippines are one on the exporter of banana to other country like Japan. How about you? Do you find banana in your table during meal?

Well, the only time we ever really have bananas is for a snack, or even breakfast. I love bananas. I eat them a lot, while at work for a snack with my lunch. We don't actually add it into a meal though, other than banana pancakes, lol.

Your post makes me homesick. I was lucky to stay 3 months in the Philippines before coming to England. And when I first arrived there I ate one bunch of Tondan at one sitting. It's my favorite of all bananas. Now, here in the UK I have to settle for what they have in the shop, the Dole banana. But it's better than nothing.

I would like to eat more bananas. They are a good source of potassium and easy to eat. I like most fruit but over the last few months the prices have really gotten high and I frequently find that the quality and taste is lacking. I could easily eat two or three bananas a day.

Bananas are not so available in my country, because it doesn't grow at this latitude. Of course you can find bananas at the city market or in supermarkets, but a lot of people don't have access to bananas. The apple is much more popular here in Romania.

Hello dear julyteen. Here in China banana is also a favorite fruit of many people's. I love it as well. I would like to tell you that home-planted bananas in our country are much cheaper than those bananas imported imported from your country, which are much nicer and tastier and worth the price that is more than double. I love bananas from your country, nice and huge and tasty. They are always found in the supermarkets here in my local place.

Hi! I am from Laguna and I agree with you that banana is indeed the most common fruit, not just in the country but in the whole world. I just came from Singapore and one of the best bananas sold there are from us.

Hey, is this really true? I mean being banana a common dessert in every Filipinos' meal? I didnt know this bit. I just thought my Dad eats it every meal jus tot be on the healthy side and helps with his digestive system. I know bananas are common here, and I eat it too, but not that too often. I usually mix it with Milo and all it needs is a scoop of ice cream to be a Banana split. hehehe Im more of a Mango person though. I especially love the mango-flavored dirty ice cream.hahaha! But seriously though, I love mangoes, the yellow ones or the green ones, just put it on the table and you wont notice that its gone. How about you? Are you a Banana person too?
