yes it is best to know about programs before ou join. When I joined here I didn't know if I was going to get pay, I was happy and I said well this is a legit website, it is but when starting you half to be patient. You will see results in months as you go the more you answer and post, the more earnings you get, You agree?

I go a step further than that. If i am interested in joining a site, or buying something from a lesser known online shop, I check the domain name on Whois and check out the details of the website. If important info like address and phone number are missing then that raises a very large red flag.

i don't quite think that's "safe". i mean, you could end up on websites that "hate" the website you wanna check out, and say that it's a scam, although it might not be. This is a lost chance. But, you could end up on a "scam" website that says that "wow, this website is so awesome. paid me 1000000$ in one day". And that will lead to losing time. You could, though, ask for information (here, on mylot, or on a forum which topics are about scam websites) and VERIFY your info. Don't just believe what a person says. Praising or cursing someone (here, a website) it's NOT difficult. Try to get as personal as you can with the person that responds, and try gettin' a payment proof. And, don't be ...affraid or reticent on gettin' on a website that has good feed-back as the referral of the person that gave you the payment proof. 99% of the times, you will get to be someone's referral, so, why not be the person who helped you? :)

Oh Sweety, don't be so hard on yourself. We have all done this at one time or another. I used to be so gullable I would get these emails about kids with brain cancer and set and cry, then I found out Microsoft was keeping track of emails and I would get so much money if I kept it going, Pepsi was leaving in God we trust off the new cans. I could go on and on, lol. After about a year, I finally realized I had come full circle and all the things I cried over the year befor were back again. I felt like such an idiot! So then I discovered a little site called Snopes. You go to the site type in a couple of key words for what you want to check out, and they let you know if it is legitimate or not, and give you information to back up their results. Check it out, it is free, and you don't need to join anything to use it. Hope this helps you. Again smile it is OK. Blessings

I don't join new sites now. Unless my partner sends me the links as he has already checked it out for me. Let him do the hard work so I can keep on having fun!

I will also do a search on the website before i join its a good thing , actually it helps us a lot to know what others are saying it as we find a lot of reviews (if that website is popular).

I input the first line of spam emails that I get to check out whether or not things are scams, legands or other untruths.
I also check out various sites before doing business there.
It is a good practice to do and I like the fact that you recommended it.
Thanks for doing so.

Yes, sometimes I do. I prefer to search before joining if I ahve any sort of doubt, but sometimes I tend to join straight away. I got to take some time out for finding whether its legit before joining from now. that would be better and lot of time can be saved in turn. what is your thought on this

I think this is a great idea as you will get opinions from the forums and hopefully a balanced view will emerge.
I will certainly be doing this from now on and thanks for the advice.
