What do you want when you are sick?

Yes by all means this is a man thing to be pampered. They have drama in their actions too. They are so dependent on us women, they don't realize it. My husband would starve if I didn't make sure there was food in the house and ficed his lunch for his 12 hour shift at work. But I'll admit to a secret...even though I'm 37, I still think about my mother and her touch when I'm sick and she always makes things better. The problems is she about 500 miles away. But my husband does ok for me.

YES, its a man thing. I prefer to just sleep until I feel better. :)

If I am ill, I prefer to be alone and I need much more sleeping. I think the rest is the best medicine to recover. I will take the medicine before I have a rest. After a good sleep, I will feel better. I love China

yep i like to be left alone and thank god my hubby understands that,my children not so much

I like someone who bring me the medicine the food and then left me sleep till the other day =).

well if i am really sick,. its okay if my mom prepares a meal for me and looks at me at room occasionally to check if i am okay... but most of the time i'd like to be left alone to rest and sleep the whole time. i don't want to be bothered much.

It depends what type of sickness I got. If my head is achin I can't do anything else but to lie down and relax take some pain relievers. Sometimes I need company because I can't move easily and when I'm sick I'm so emotional. I may want to be left in peace but I want people to be around when I need assistance.

I'm not sure if it's a 'man' thing or not. I do know that when I am sick (vs anybody else in the house), it still seems I am required to take care of the things I normally take care of. If I'm REALLY sick and all I can do is lie in bed, I have to hope it falls on a day when my husband is here so he can do crowd control and keep the kids away from me. I very much dislike being climbed on, crawled on, and asked questions of when I am trying to hide under the covers and not be bothered. I'll tell him that I'm just a little sick, sort of sick, or SICK SICK and he knows what to do. Fortunately I get THAT sick once or twice a year and I get better fast as long as I'm left alone.

a little petting and pampering never hurt anyone, especially when they are sick. I also find a nice hot bath works wonders for me.

I want to just lay there and/or sleep. But it would be nice if someone would hand me my veggie soup when I needed it.

Well depend on how sick i am yea , if i have a slight headache then i just need to be alone having lots of rests yea . if i am too sick then i would need my love ones to look after me yea .

i want my meds and have a lot of sleep when i am sick. that is the only time i can really catch a lot of snores. so i have to get the most of it. i am a single mom and my daughters like to be pampered more than my son. my son just want to have his meds on the exact time. i think daughters are more like to be pampered. i think husbands loves to be pampered too. i juts dont know because i dont have a husband.

when im sick i want my mom to take care of me. im lucky because she always sees to it that i am taken care of. she would always give me medicines and cook soups for me. she also talks to me as if i was a baby. i can feel how much she loves me.

Hello,cjgrooms! during the period of my sickness i prefer none by my side as they will be disturbing my sleep and peace of mind.i need others presence only at the time of eating diets and attending to nature's call.even if nobody is there i don't mind and manage myself.thank you.

It depends what I am ill with, if I have a cold or something that makes me look awful then I will want to be left alone, but if I am in pain or something like that then I like it when my boyfriend cuddles me.
