Hi guys long time no see , as most of you know I was off line for about 5 weeks in total , I haven't written discussion for months but I thought I would let you all know how things are doing. You know too that hubby had a triple bypass almost 2 years ago( in August) yes it is that long ago , and that I almost lost him then , Mum and Dad both have Alzheimer's and are Still in their own home and I am still managing to look after them , and we almost lost Ross 2 years ago now too . well all is good , Mum and dad are getting worse but very slowly at the moment , Jim is doing well too and the enlarged arteries in his tummy and groin are getting worse very slowly too , I don't have to go back to the breast clinic for another 6 months either , Yesterday was Ross's 28th birthday and it was brilliant , We had so much to celebrate , It was a brilliant day and so relaxing and happy , I am truly blessed and just wanted you all to know , take care and be happy as life is too short ,
Tell the people you love that you love them now , don't wait until it's too late
Margaret xx

Hi Margaret, I was just wondering if you have deleted me from your friend's list as I have not heard from you for so long. Glad that you are living well. You sure are positive. Remain positive and I am sure you will continue to be blessed. Cheers for a happy and cheerful life :)

What great spirit and strength you have, my friend. You've made positives out of what could be seen as negatives here, and I'm full of admiration for your attitude. You've put a smile on my face, for the day!
Good news, that the negatives are happening slowly... and I'd like to send you energies and prayers to slow them down even more, my friend, if not stop them altogether. You are truly a deserving case.
Brightest Blessings, a big ((((HUGGGGGGGG)))) and thank you for brightening my day, in teaching me how to be positive. Love you! xxxxx

I was excited to see your name Margeret! I know I haven't seen you in a long time!
I'm sorry to hear that the people you love are getting worse, but glad to hear it is all very slowly so they will continue to be with you for some time.
I know being a caregiver is very stressful, even what I do for my client (that is actually pretty easy since she is in her right mind, just can't get around) and my mom, who is in a care facility is enough to leave me beat at the end of the day.

Hi weemam! I am so sorry that you have to go through all that but at the same glad to learn how much you appreciate life. I agree with you completely that life is so short and I do try my best, even sometimes I want to strangle myself because of so many problems and trials thrown my way, I still can see beauty and happiness within and around me. I do admit sometimes that I don't show how much I love and appreciate some of the important people in my life. Thanks for this post, you have reminded me in a way. Take care and God bless! Have a nice day dear friend!

life is full of challenges..it is really complicated...its just up to us how we handle them..lets just be strong and be positive. we must not lose hope...God is always here for us..just dont forget to call Him.

Hi Margaret - nice to see you back here again! We missed you pal.
Say Happy Birthday to Ross from me - my youngest son is the same age!
You are definitely right - life is too short, and we need to learn NOW to tell people that we love them; if we wait, it could be too late. Grab the chance while you can!

Ok Well first off I am still annoyed with you for not telling me it was my little bruvs birthday yesterday! Second Niamh drew him a card (on a bit of paper we had no card left) and was going to bring that along with that form earlier but we were waiting on Niall coming home - he came home had dinner and went out without leaving the form so they will bring them along tomorrow! lol Anyway as for the rest I know how bad things have been in the past and how much anxiety and stress you have had and it is wonderful for me to see that everything is so much better for you now! I can't wait to feel better and get out and about with you more! Love you Mam and every night I pray that life goes well for you and yours! Hugs xxx

Hi Margaret,
I'm glad to see you back here. From what you're writing here, though you have had your share of problems and difficulties you sound like you still have a positive spirit through it all. While my mother didn't have Alzheimer's she did have a lot of other problems and I was her sole caregiver as she refused outside help...she did have depression and perhaps dementia...her mind just wasn't all there and she did pass away August 27th 2006...gee, almost two years now. So I know how trying it is to take care of a parent, and goodness you're taking care of both your parents. I'm glad to hear you were able to do a bit of celebrating the other day for Ross's birthday

I think you are optimistic. Maybe after going through all these, you realize more about the meaning of life than most of us do. It's true that one will not cherish something until he/she has lost it once. Now most of us are still holding our love and gratitude in ourselves. Sometimes I did feel regreted. I thought if I told he/her that I care, maybe everything will change.
Glad that you are enjoying your life. If more people can think in your way, I suppose life will be really better.

Hello Weemam, nice to see you here again, I used to come about a year ago under another account name but I have spent a lot of time elsewhere recently.
We too have had our ups and downs and a lot of heartache in different ways with our two girls.
One is 30 and married, the other 18 and at college.
In their own ways they still affect us a lot but I have had trouble at work and so has my wife.
There's ionly 8 years till I retire and I wonder if I'll make it in employment till then. The job signs aren't good.
Then I read what you've had to deal with and I feel ashamed for moaning.
It's great to hear that things are improving for you. God Bless.

Hi weemam,
It´s great to hear from you again. I´m glad to hear that your family is fine even though they (and you) unfortunately have to deal with health issues.
Your energy is truly surprising. I really admire you for looking after your parents so well, that´s probably why they can still live in their own place.
You´re right, life is too short to take things for granted. It´s best to live in the present and enjoy every minuite.
Hugs and love to you and keep up this wonderful spirit of yours.
XXX Dana

Hi weemam, I haven't been on here for a long time myself, i'm glad you had a lovely day and felt you could share it with us here! I tell my daughter every day that I love her, my friends know that I appreciate them as I send them cards and flowers and silly things like that, even if it's just an email card to say hello, at least they know I'm thinking of them! Good luck Margaret, I hope all works out for you

Wow, how wonderful that you have so much going on in your life but you can still see the positive side to everything - I think that is fantastic and I praise you sincerely from my heart.
It is true that you need to tell your loved ones that you do love them. I was lucky that I was able to do that before my father passed on but I didn't have that opportunity when my sister passed on. Shame but I can do nothing about it, her passing was so incredibly sudden, leaving behind two teenagers who are now beautiful young people with so much love it is wonderful to see.
I am glad that you have so much to celebrate and my thoughts go out to you and your family.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
