I can say I have several highlight in my life and every situation gives different satisfaction within! The moment I finish College, it was like making my parents so happy after all their sacrifices and hard work, employed in 2 best universities in my Country which gave me different exposures and allow me to meet different great people who made a great impact in my life, having a very supportive and loving husband, great dad and mom and loving sis!

I can't think of anything like that. Some life shatteringly bad moments, but nothing like you are talking about. Being a parent wasn't ever anything I wanted to be, tho there is a certain wonder when I was handed some of the baby kittens, like Oliver or Solo.
Tho, honestly, the litter I tended last fall, I really wanted them to put them back, because I KNEW how much work they would require.

getting married to a person who is perfectly right for me is one of the moment in my life that i can say made me a good man. i felt good. it felt good. it was a dream come true. to find someone who is perfectly right for you and to get married with her. it really felt wonderfully god. har har har. we are married now for five years... and we have a two year old son. yes that is one more moment that i felt uncomparable joy. when my son was born. it felt good when i got married but i felt complete when my son was born. now i am not just a husband but i am a father as well. who could ask for more? this is so perfect and i am happy and contented

my wife is 38 and she had many miscarriages before we hit the jackpot, though i like to have atleast one more i respect her decission that one is enough for us... but as days and months and years pass by (our son is two years old already pixtures appear as my avatar) i realized that it was not easy to have a child. the sleepless nights and worries when he is sick, the price of milk and nappies. i am not complaining but i was shocked. if course when he is old enough another phase of his life will start like schooling and a lot more things that parents should be prepared. not just financially but also mentally. though i still wish to have one more i am contented on what we have now.

There were three of them, actually. I have three grown children. It was a wonderful experience when each of them were born. But above that was when each one of them, after turning 18 and leaving home, called me at different points in their life and said, "Thank you, Mom. I want you to know I have new respect for you now and I love you." It made the pain of childbirth and all the ups and downs of being a most of the time single mother of three the most rewarding thing that I have ever done.

When my kids were younger and told me they hated me, I would say, "That is ok. I understand you are not happy with me right now. I only hope you will respect me when you are my age." And it worked.

Mine is when my daughters graduated from high school. I was so proud that they were at the top of their classes and worked so hard helping others in the community. Its great to know they are successful in their own lives.

That was a very important time for me too....the first time you hold a child! I also had the thrill of holding my first book in my hand....a dream come true! I spent the better part of the day crying...for as long as I can remember.....I wanted to be an author and now I have two books out and one ready to go....

It was the day I got myself a decent job when I was still at Uni, I felt great cos I could manage to study and work both at the same time. My life just changed completely after I moved back to Hong Kong in 1997 - it was the time of Asian financial crises. I couldn't find any job and eventually got myself a really low paid job after six months, so comparing with the downside, that was the moment I still treasure a lot :)

I think that their are two memorable moments that I treasure and will never forget. The day my now fiance texted me while I was at work, a simple "I love you!" It was one of the first times he texted me that, and it made my day much more sweet.
Also the last day or one of the last days of a job. I could not get him out of my mind, and it was proving to make work difficult as I was a banquet server. It made me happy though, so very very happy.

It truly is. I wasn't sure how it would feel, but when I first heard it from someone I could believe meant it, it was amazing.
Words can hurt and heal.

There are so many memorable happy moments. The day I met my husband for the first time. The birth of my three children. The day my daughter graduated from college. I could go on and on. I feel I am so fortunate and lucky in so many things. The good time really outweigh the bad times and when I go through a bad time, I remind myself that these bad times will only make me appreciate the good times even more.

I think it's mostly attitude. If you think you have it bad or dwell on the bad things, more bad will come to you. If you think you have s wonderful life and dwedll on the good things, more good things will come to you.

my college graduation few weeks ago was one of the happiest moment I had in my life.
When I was young, my mother used to accompany me to school and when I get home my father would teach me my lessons and study with my brother on the same table. As I grow up and live away from my family to study in a university far from home, my parents and the rest of the family are still there suporting what I want and what I do. And I love them for that.
On the day of my graduation, only parents are allowed to get in the area. My parents were there seated on my both sides. I didn't tell them I had awards and all that because I wanted to surprise them. When our dean called my name, I saw my parents smile and proud face that I did it. I've been good in school and I fulfilled my promise to them that I will make them march with me on my graduation day.
That was one of the happiest moment of my life -- with the love of my life.

Hi minnie_98214! I completely agree that holding your child on your arms for the first time, will be the best moment of any mother's life. I would feel that way if I have been blessed to have a child, unfortunately I don't have. Anyway this is the best moment of my life..when hubby and I were engaged and we kinda been drifting apart because we so busy and I began having doubts of how he really feel about "us"..to make the story short, I gave up on him. After two days of not having any communication, he sent a letter that we needed to talk and he will be waiting in his house. I was hesitant to go because I want to move on with my life but then I did see him. I went to his house, he was there waiting for me..as soon as I got into the living room..he knelt down and kissed my feet..he said I will do anything for you..don't leave..I love you so much. That did it! We made up and got married. Just my thoughts dear friend. Take care and have a nice day!

As for me the most memorable moment in my life right now was received my university admission notice a couple of years ago, which did mean a lot to me.And also I felt so happy the moment when i got my first monthly payment,I still remember that I bought some gifts for my family members by using some portion of that money.Maybe most of the first things we experienced in our life are always memorable.

I agree with you the day you have your first child is one the most memorable moments in a parents life. The feeling is realy very hard to describe, even when they grow older, when they learn to call you mom or dad and everything.
I also consider my wedding as one of the happy momemts in my life. That day aside from the happiness I felt having finally tied up with my wife in the sacrament of matrimony, I was also able to gather and be around to witness one happy moment of my life, all my brothers and sisters, the whole family came and celebrated with me.
