I only speak English, I have never learnt another language, and I have never needed to. Although I must admit I do admire people who can speak in different languages I think it is great.

I only speak English, tho I know a few words in several languages. I say "thank you" in German because that is one of the few words that came down to me from my German great-grandmother - I was told by a German speaker that my pronuciation isn't bad either. I can throw a few Spanish words out, again "thank you" and a few others that I've picked up just living in Texas. I also used to be more fluent in sign language, but I haven't really used it in years and am losing the skill.

I live in a multiracial country. Other than the national language, Malay, students in school need to learn another language like English or Tamil whereas students who study in the Chinese school have to learn another two languages, Chinese and English. I was a Chinese school student so now I speak three languages everyday. I speak the three languages in office and speak dialect and Chinese at home.

I mostly speak English, but at times I'll say things in Japanese and a bit rarer than that I'll say things in French. So that would make it 3. Then there is always random gibberish at "huh" and "ugh" moments in life.

We speak English here at home and at school or work! Many people speak a second language, not English at home and the schools have to teach English as a second language to many people! I learned a few more languages but not to speak every day!

I pretty much only use English on a day to day basis. I know Spanish pretty well, but I just know the vocabulary I don't know like all the possesive verbs and nouns and things like that. Pretty much I can just speak in the infinitive. But I only use Spanish to goof around and have fun with it. Like I said the only language I use for actual communicationg is English.

sadly I have to admit I only speak English although I did take spanish and french in college. I do understand a little of spanish and a little bit of french but do not speak either language. we should all learn at least one other language just to be well educated.

Although I swear I speak a different language sometimes (you know, when your kids or spouse don't listen or don't understand what you are trying to tell them) I know and speak English. Although I can understand SOME words in Spanish, I am not good enough to get past "hello how are you I am fine, and you" I can pick up different Spanish words here and there based on whatever my weird brain retained in my taking the Spanish for 2 years of high school.

I speak two languages, English and our language. In school and at home thats what we are using. I also can undestand Spanish language as most of our words here have Spanish origin and I took up 12 units of Spanish language in college.

I only can speak chinese and english. It is so common,i think most of the people in china now using this two languages.Chinese is our mother language, and the english is our second language. Now i must learn english well to find a good job to live.but after i have afterhours i want to learn French. It is a beautiful language, isn't it?And i want to go to Paris when i earn enough money. I believe that somebody are genius with learning foreign language though i am not one.But now so there are really so many people who can speak more than two languages.
