Do you like HORROR movies??

I absolutely don't.. You can say that I have a horror-movie-phobia.. But I just don't like them..
If I happen to watch them, I will be left sleepless, sick and will have a being-haunted feeling for days.. So I just avoid them. But I don't mind watching mild horror.. Contrary to what you might think, I don't believe in ghosts..
So what's your opinion on them?? I know many people who like them for 'thrills' they give..

I always loved horror movies, but the old classics, I don't find too many good horror movies these days. I love the kind about the devil the best, like the omen, or the exorcists, that scares me the most.

i absolutley LOVE horror movies, but it is hard to find some now a days that will actually scare me. Horror movies just arnt how they used to be. My mom is like you she HATES horror movies she will leave the room the second it turns on lol. I think it is funny because me and my boyfriend are always trying to find a good horror movie!

hello jaime, im exactly your opposite. I dont like horror movies. Its something that after watching would make me sleepless for the night. My friends like watching those kinds of movies but Im not one of them who would enjoy waching such.
When I was a kid there was this horror show every saturday and one time I tried watching it.When mother requested me to buy something from the store ( of course I have to go out from our house and buy it), i did not agreed with her and did not do what she asked me to do for i was too scared to go out from the house.
The most things that really makes horror movies scarry is the sound effects. Its like by the sound itself makes you want to be scared.

I'm not crazy about them. I will watch them but it always seems the girl falls in the movie. Movies like saw freak me out b/c they really have sick people out there and they probably get ideas from those kind of movies.

there are times that many of us are affected with horror movies this is because of the visual and sound effects that applied to movie that seems it's real. most of the kids are sick if they watched horror movies. for me depending on the situation, i never watched horror during night time.

I occasionally enjoy horror movies. BUT i have to watch them with someone who doesnt mind when i scream like a little girl and I have to be able to crash in bed with them to be "protected" from the monsters. My sister and i watch them togehter and then end up sleeping in the same room/bed cause we're too chicken to leave the room.

I love Horror Movies which are full of suspense they just thrill us with sudden boosts of horror faces and they make our Horror mental Stability Strong .They Are Very nice and by the way their is no need to be Afraid They are after all just Movies :).

i love horror movies!!!
i love the mysteries behind each horror stories!
but these days horror movies are filled only with sfx and don't really have nice stories to tell!!
i love those of the old days!!
i really can't say why exactly i love them but watching it late at night is really fun!

Oh I love horror movies!! its actually my favourite genre of films..My husband is like you though, he doesnt care for horror movies or any type of scary movie whether its gory or not..My kids on the other hand are like me LOL especially my son..he's a pretty big fan of horror

i sometimes watch some of them if i feel like it but it is not my cup of tea. at times i let myself go to enjoy a horror flick so i can get scared but most often than not i don't. if you do not believe in ghost then why are you affected by what you watched? try to think about it.

i love horror movies! and yeah, its because of the thrill. i enjoy something that makes me scared or gives me a startle every now and then or gives me goosebumps! and its a good thing i don't bring to my sleep whatever it is that i've watched. it all ends when the movie ends. i don't think about it. i try not to get affected since its just fiction. i think though that i believe in ghosts because many people have seen them, and perhaps i might have felt one or two at some point of my life, but that doesn't make me a scaredy cat.

I LOVE horror movies! I love that panicked, racing heart feeling when something gets under your skin. It takes a lot to scare me though and most newer movies don't get to me. I like the one that turn something creepy into a believable scenario like the Chainsaw Massacre. I think movies today rely on gore more than scaring a person. A good example of that are the Saw movies. Yeah, they are scary but they are sickening more than being a "scary movie."

oh yes same here, i hate horror movies, just find them so eery. why would i waste 2 hrs of my life scaring myself, would rather wacth something funny or romantic ya

benthose I also hate horror movies that will give me
nightmares and more.I like to feel good when I go to
a movie star warsand star trek and the trilogy of the hobits those I like but no horror movies, no chain saw massacre
or any thing like that.
