Hmmm, let me see... I don't really have any particular cake that I like. I prefer white to chocolate cake. But with the warmer weather I like sponge cake with strawberry topping on it.
That's all I can think of at the moment.
So do you have a favorite cake that you like?

There are two cakes that I actually love and I have a hard time choosing one over the other, one is cheese cake with strawberries, and the other is black forest chocolate cake.

Ever since I was a child, my mother has made a special birthday cake for me. It is two layers of white cake with chocolate frosting. What makes it unique is the middle. Between the layers, she spreads strawberry jam and sliced bananas. As the cake sits, the moisture from the jam and fruit soaks into the cake, making it moist and very tasty. This will always be my favorite kind of cake. It tastes great and brings back many happy memories.

I am not addicted to any cake in particular and must admit it is not my favorite sweet delicacy. I have enjoyed ice cream cake in the past as my uncle's ex wife had introduced me to it. I asked for it every year after that and as my uncle's ex wife's birthday was close to mine, we would have the cake every year.
I have also enjoyed angel food cake (although a very very rich wholesome food) and marble cake as well.
I grew up on eatin mostly pound cakes and they are quite yummy too.
I used to work at a hotel and was able to taste many different desserts. They were all delicious but were mostly a chocolate or cheesecake.

I thought so when I first heard of it, but it is very good. It doesn't have 100% icecream, as I believe pan cake is in the middle of it, but not a significant amount. Very yummy none the less... and can be found at Ice Cream Shops as well as supermarkets... as I have recently seen.

I really can't decide what kind of cake I like the most. I would mention one, but then there's another one that I think about. I think the once I like the most is chocolate cake with lots of chocolate frosting. I also like those with the frosting flowers on it or candy letters. But, I will eat just about any type of cake, even fruit cake, especially the more cake-like fruit cake.

I am not that keen on fruit cake as it sometimes can be a bit on the dry side but I like the sound of the choclate cake with the frosting yummy

I like lots of different cakes but I don't think I'm addicted to any. I really like carrot cake, German chocolate cake with the yummy coconut icing, chocolate lava cake.
My favorite cake growing up was banana split cake...it's the one I always wanted each birthday.

I think homemade cakes are so much better than the ones you buy in the supermarket. I have not made a carrot cake for ages so might do one this week end, its a bank holiday here in the UK

I like a good fruit cake, nice and rich.Im not into all of the butter cream icied cakes and the very sickly sweet ones.I dont think that you can beat a good fruit cake and for a long time I used to regularly make a boiled fruit cake which was always moist ,so it was good.
