For the last several months I have been trying to reflect on each day and find something in each day no matter how small of a blessing. I've been writing at least one on my calendar each day.
So for today's blessing May 2nd, 2008 I will be adding that I got my stimulus payment of $600 direct deposited into my account today.
So do you stop and reflect at the blessings you receive each day? Please share your blessings here in this discussion and since this discussion will be responded to other days besides just today, please date your response.
Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Now that is a great blessing. You are so right terri, you have to count each and every blessing. if you do you will begin to see that you have had a great day. from someone holding the door for you, or getting free cup of coffee. even $600 in your bank account! every day is a blessing. thanks for such a great post.

Today, May 4th, 2008 I am thankful and blessed that I had the day off from work, especially since I've worked about 67 hours in the last week. And within that I am blessed that I have a job and extra work to boot at that!

I count my blessings on a regular basis. I write them down and it usually helps if I'm feeling down. I just count simple ones that I've had in my life such as meeting a person who has affected your life, to children being healthy. When you count them all they do add up and it makes you realise how lucky you really are! Take care

Well, one of the Biggest blessings that came our way was on September 3rd when we closed on the Sale of our Condo and then on September 9th when the closing on our house happened. We know that no matter what comes our way from here, this was Gods will and everything will be Great from here. So even when the BAD times come we will be still counting our blessings from this as well.

This is Monday May 19, 2008.
I do count my blessing everyday. I have a husband of 35 years who loves me and I love him. There is my married son who has three children which gives me three grandkids which I love and adore. I see my grandkids on a regular basis. My son and his family are healthy. I live in a great country--United States. There is a roof over my husbands and my head. We are able to put food in the house and don't have to worry about it. I have a great job. I work with kids in a after school program. The kids and I get along great. I have a wonderful boss and the people I work with get along together. These are just a few of the blessings that come to me each and everyday.
I like the fact of what you mentioned about writing a blessing on your calender each and everyday. That is a good idea and I think I will start doing that also. It will definitely remind me that blessings are there if I just take the time to recognize them. Excellent idea you posted here. Thanks a bunch.

Thanks for posting your many blessings here. I've been slipping on writing on my calendar everyday, but need to remember to do it more often.
Today, May 22, 2008 My blessing for today that my mom went to the oncologist and seems to think that her problem is an vitamin deficiency or her thyroid and not cancer that we feared it me. For this I give God many praises and thanks.

I try to be thankful every day but as far as stopping at the end of the day and considering all the blessing of that day I haven't done that in a long time. I think it would be a very good practice when we lay our heads down on out pillows that we stop and re-live our day and see what all we were blessed with and see how we can live better tomorrow. This is Monday, May 19 and it is 12:43pm and I am blessed that I have gotten to spend the day with my grand-daughter and my other grand-daughter and grandson will be spending the night with us tonight.

This discussion let me stop for a moment and reflect on; If I ever stop and reflect on each day, and do I stop and count my Blessings One by One!
Yes I do everyday; I realize that God provided a meal for me and my family, my bills are paid up in full and I am getting my business set up.
God is carrying me everyday.

I do reflect at all the blessings I receive each day. I make it a point to thank God for each and every blessing. God has been very good to me. For the past few weeks, He has granted all of the things I ask of Him.

Hello Terri. We have so many blessing each day I couldn't start to count them. But I can tell you of one blessing that happened last February. My honey came down real sick and kept going to the doctor and the doctor sent my honey home twice and the third time we were at the emergency room. Seems my honey had a hole in the sack around my honeys heart. I got down on my knees and prayed and kept praying for several days. And then one day God healed my honey. That time I was really worried but I knew God had plans for us. And sure enough my honey is doing great these days. Didn't affect any aspect of our lives. My honey has a scar down the chest but what the heck it is part of my honey. Thank God for all the blessings we receive everyday of our lives. Hope you have a great and blessed day this day Terri!
